My best friends in the whole world have started their own play dates in Albany! 🥺❤️ I’m so proud and excited, welcome to the dog side!

We’re Colin and Haley, owners of Paws for Playtime! Some fun facts about us:
• We’ve been together for over 10 years, and married for 8.
• We had our first child, Merrick, in December 2023.
• Between the two of us, we’ve had 12 dogs across our lifetimes! That’s nearly 1 dog every 2 years!
• We love to road trip. We’ve traveled across the US together with our dogs and plan to visit as many National Parks as we can.
• We bought our house in Albany the month before we got married and have been here ever since.

We can’t wait to get to know you!

Hello world, Addy is here. 🖤 She likes dogs, her daddy, and crying… we have some things in common. It feels like she’s always been here, we’re so grateful. Thank you all for being so wonderful to us while we huddle up and enjoy this time together. 🙏🏻

It’s my anniversary today and as a business owner my private life is not very private. I got married in our home and I also share this home with your dogs. I ate my wedding cake on the kitchen counter, the same kitchen where I prepare meals for your dog. Your dog probably likes to p*e on my favorite tree, the tree I sat in right after I got married. We play in the fields where I ran barefoot celebrating with my dogs. The steps leading to our groups are where we cherished the moments of our marriage. The leashes I take to work hang where my wedding dress once did. Your pup shares all of the all of my most precious intimate memories with me. My home, my dogs, my husband. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family, you are very much part of mine! Anthony and I are so grateful to share our life with you. ❤️

Sweet Mugsy, the rainbow bridge welcomes you today. Mugsy is survived by his dedicated and fiercely loyal owner, his silly and loving sister, his pack, and countless humans that he has brought joy to. In his long life he outlived his life expectancy and he surpassed all expectations of what a canine companion can be. Mugsy was stoic and sensitive, strong but gentle, highly intelligent and as silly as could be, a force to be reckoned with and as kind as a butterfly. People really overuse the phrase “gentle giant” but I don’t think we’ll ever use it again unless it is to talk about our dearest friend, Mugsy. Our pack are so blessed for the years that we spent with him. Mugsy was truly a guardian. He was the best start to our days for a laugh together or a neck to cry into. We will miss him forever, we will hold his heavy paw on our hearts always. Kerri, our hearts ache for you. 🖤

Happy International Dog Day from my family to yours. Hemi and Hazel work hard to make our house a home for our guests. They’re patient with annoying silly puppies and they gently and kindly interact with senior pups. They share their beds, their toys, their home, their treats, their people, and their entire lives with our pack. They don’t get enough credit for happily putting up with all of us. To all the dogs that helped raised them, thank you. To all the people who trust and love them, thank you. ❤️

We’re saying goodbye to two of our best friends soon, Dez and Tilly. There’s a lot to of things imperfect about this world. To start, our photography skills and our group sit skills could use some improvement. These girls however are perfect, despite our inability to capture it well. It has been ridiculous joyous and fun to spend time with them. Our whole pack loves them and we will miss them dearly when they move! In true Boston Terrier fashion they are never afraid to make a silly face or tell you how they feel and they are alllways the life of the party. Wishing their beautiful family a safe move and wonderful new chapter in their lives. Thank you to both of their mamas for letting us spend time with them, it has been a PLEASURE. Ps. If they need a puppy reference for the next pet care team to be graced with their presence.. just give us a call! 📞

Three years, three Pack Pals Toyotas. We’ve never been stranded and we’ve never taken a snow day. Life is better than ever now that we’ve been in our Sienna van. We’ve had it exactly 8 weeks. and we’ve traveled 7,545 miles in it! It is the backbone of our Pack Play program and we are so grateful for all the space and comfort that it offers us. The Sienna has helped us travel more safely, make new friends, and continue the Pack Pals dream.

Celebrating one year with this beautiful wild man, Augie! From the day I met him I was impressed with him and his family. Not only was he gorgeous but he had an incredible temperament that shined through immediately. He has a supportive and active family and a mama who is passionate and experienced with the breed. Augie is a wonderful representation of the German Shepherd as a family dog. It has been such a pleasure to watch him grow, mentally and physically. We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with him! Since I was a child I’ve had tumultuous and traumatic relationships with German shepherds, getting my own GSD was therapeutic in ways that I can’t articulate. I am so lucky to know and love several incredible dogs like Augie. Thank you !

Happy fourth birthday to our honorary employee, my crazy little rat dog, my business partner, and my best friend. He has been my biggest challenge and my biggest blessing. In the past four years we’ve grown so much together, through our home life and through our work life with Pack Pals. He was a part of Pack Pals before me, before Pack Pals even became Pack Pals. He’s my favorite part of our story and I’m so grateful for him. Thank you for accepting and loving my boy, thank you for trusting us with your best friends, thank you for helping me supply him with all the balls he could ever want. ❤️🎾

Pack Pals turns 1️⃣, again!! It’s been one year since I took ownership of this furry company. We’ve been very busy and blessed during this time. We welcomed 43 new puppies to our family, 3 pet care providers, and our new Pack Play program. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support during this huge transition. I am so honored that we can continue serving our community- we love you and we hope to be here for many years to come. 😃❤️

Happy Memorial Day to our honorary employee, combat veteran, and puppy lover, Anthony. If your pup loves Pack Pals then they LOVE Anthony. Seriously, I’m chopped liver compared to him. Because Anthony served with some amazing animals we got our first puppy, Hemi. If it wasn’t for that we wouldn’t be here with Pack Pals. As we honor our nation’s fallen today, please give some warm love to those we are blessed to have with us. Happy Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Our Pack does a lot of things together but by far the number one most important thing we do together is relax. 😴 Here we are starting to slow down and get sleepy in our group! Allowing and encouraging dogs to relax in group is so healthy for their mind as an individual, and collectively it makes our group really balanced. If you can believe it, we don’t have any dogs that don’t chose to relax at some point in group! The ability to self regulate and take breaks is a requirement for our Pack Play puppies. Group is a self paced social time- not a contest to see who can be the most tired. Have you ever been in a social setting where you were exhausted and just wanted to rest? That is a recipe for crankiness so we do not make any extra efforts to tire pups out. Allowing dogs to choose their own rhythm really keeps our groups magical and happy. This keeps us in tip-top shape mentally, physically, and emotionally. The cutest part though, sleepy puppies and snuggles of course! ❤️🐾
