We’re expanding our team and are looking for a motivated, reliable, hard working apprentice to join us at Ashton Vale. Duties will include handling well behaved (mostly!) horses, routine yard work, grooming etc.

The scheme will be run through Haddon Training Limited.

***** Livery Vacancy 🐴 *****

We have got a rare vacancy for a 5 or 7 day part livery coming available at the beginning of April.

All feed (Allen & Page and Dengie), hay/haylage, one bale of shavings a week included (extra shavings billed monthly). All year turnout in pairs or small groups. Floodlit 60 x 40 ménage with mirrors and a good selection of jumps and fillers.

We look after your horse like our own and provide a happy, friendly environment for both horse and human 😊

We’ve got lots going on here with trainers visiting regularly (or you can have your own trainer) and liveries out competing or attending clinics. There is plenty of hacking on offer as well……I hear about far too much galloping around at the moment as the ground is so good, and when you get back from a muddy gallop we’ve got a new wash box with a hot shower to clean your horse - and you if need be 🙈😂🙈

***** Part Time Groom Vacancy *****

We’re looking for a reliable team player to join our private livery yard. Lovely horses and people, good rates of pay and possibility to bring your own horse for the right person.

Hours are 8am to 5pm Saturday, Monday & Tuesday, the role involves all routine yard work - turn out and in, mucking out, filling haynets etc.
