We had a visit from local celebrity Bella the Store Kitty from Eclectic Calico today.

Safe to say she seems to enjoy hanging out at the shop more than hanging out with us!

Miss Puff had a lot of big thoughts about her home away from home while she was staying with us for treatment.

Taylor, one of our assistants, made her a hiding spot to make her feel more comfortable and dubbed it her “Home Angry Home”.

We are happy to report Miss Puff has made a full recovery and is home now! (and much happier with her accommodations) ❤️

Looking for a Forever Home!

Maverick is a handsome German Shepherd who is estimated to be 8–9 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated and full of love to give. He’s a gentle soul who passed both the cat and dog test here at the clinic — Frankie (our clinic cat) gave him a paw of approval.

He knows a few basic commands, walks decently on a leash, and is just looking for a comfy place to call home. He does need to be crated when left alone, but he’d much rather spend his time by your side.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who still has so much love to give, come meet this sweet boy. He’s patiently waiting for someone to give him a loving home.

We’ve received some questions about the shirt pickup in our lobby that is part of a fundraiser for Lilah, a former employee’s daughter, who is battling cancer. These shirts are sold exclusively by Little Lamb Threads, and all purchases must be made directly through them.

If you’d like to purchase a shirt, please reach out to Little Lamb Threads via their page—we are unable to assist with purchases.

However, we are happy to serve as a local pickup hub for anyone who has ordered from them! If you’ve already purchased a shirt and have been informed by Little Lamb Threads that it is ready for pick up, feel free to stop by during our regular hours(7:30am-5:30pm) and head to the pink drawers to the left of our front desk to get it!

🚨Lilah Shirt Pick Up Post🚨

95% of shirt orders are complete! I have just a few extra orders to finish up but they will be ready by the end of the week. 🤩

Initially I said pick up would be at my home but due to the abundance of orders we have partnered with the Animal Clinic of Madison-Mayodan to also offer pick up there. (Thanks Dr. McKinlay) Their hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30-5:30. I know some of you may not be able to pick up during those hours so picking up from my home will still be offered.

I plan to go set up our pick up station tomorrow, please let me know if you’re able to pick up from the animal clinic or if you need to pick up from my home. 🫶🏼
