Unfortunately this little girl’s home has fallen through…twice. I believe she will be a large mini or maybe just a hair over 13” as an adult (all of Sin’s daughters in previous litters have been minis). Her angles are a bit too straight for me to feel comfortable placing her as a sport prospect for high impact sports but I do believe she would enjoy doing some less physically demanding things like barn hunt, rally, scentwork, etc. But she would also be perfectly content as a pet.

She is very confident and outgoing, has excellent handler engagement, and has a really nice level head and off switch. She’s not over the top drivey and won’t be difficult to handle as an adult and would probably be fine in just about any home.

Montgomery 2023 is a memory and the holiday season is upon us. Where did the time go?
The last issue of the year features a book review of Piglet, The Unexpected Story of a Deaf Blind Pink Puppy and his Family by Melissa Shepherd. This is a book you can consider as a present for a family member or a friend…a nice story with meaning. Claude ReMaynes has a good story about a special past Montgomery County win. Kathy Wakefield’s excellent article on earthdog training is a must read, and dog-themed seasonal cards are always a nice holiday touch. Another article of interest is Evaluating Temperament and Structure for Performance Prospects by Barbara A. Gibson Ph.D.
TerrierGroup marks another full year of publication. The staff and I are proud of the work we have done, the friends we have made along the way and the wonderful terriers that make this magazine what it is.
We want to extend the warmest wishes to all this holiday and the absolute best for 2024!

They say you should be careful when naming a dog because names tend to be self-fulfilling prophecies. But there's nothing Grim about this boy. It's impossible to be gloomy when the soundtrack to your life is the elevator music on a constant loop inside your head. What this boy lacks in cleverness he makes up for in charm and who wouldn't want to see that sweet derpy face looking at them starry-eyed with adoration every day? If you love a good himbo dog with two brain cells and an obsession with crunchy leaves, Grim would love to be your new best friend. (Leaf not included)

Kevin and Sin blessed us with 6 gorgeous babies yesterday. Since this litter turned out quite a bit larger than anticipated we do have space on our waitlist for MALE sport/active pet homes. This is an aunt-nephew linebreeding on some very talented proven sport lines. Sin has puppies from previous litters actively competing in agility, barn hunt, flyball, coursing ability, rally, conformation, and dock diving. Kevin has multiple full and half siblings who are also highly successful in the same sports. Both parents are fully health tested.

Ginny is 10 months old (DOB 12/8/22) from our last Hunter/Moxie litter. We’ve decided to wash her as a breeding prospect and feel she would be happy as a pet or low impact sport dog. She is well socialized, is good with other dogs, and good with kids. We are unsure how she will be around cats.
