Still no 🌞 but we are enjoying the sand pit anyway!
The daxies will be pleased as punch when they find out that I have just splashed out on a heater for the swimming pool. Well I do like to spoil them don't I?😊
Well it's not like we can rely on the sunshine this year so far, to warm it up is it?
Dachshunds like lying around in the sunshine and quite frankly so do I.
When I get the chance. Roll on summer it feels like a blooming arctic blast today😂

Dougie bless him, he is always first every year. He is first in the swimming pool, paddling pool and sand pit. There is just no stopping this game little sausage. ❤️

It's lovely to see the dogs in the garden playing in the sunshine, even if it is between showers. I think they have missed the sun as much as we have! 🌞

The Best Friends 2023 awards for sports are as follows:
Dougie wins Champion Diver.
Willow wins the female Champion Diver.
Cookie wins Best Friends
Best Open water swimmer.
Walter wins Water sports Champion.
Hector wins Champion Ball Catcher.
Hector won this whilst balancing on a rubber boat in a swimming pool, so this was absolutely amazing!!!!

We had a lovely walk Sunday at Minnis Bay, with friends and their sausage dogs.
Best Friends took boarders Cookie, Frankie and Pixel along to this group walk.
Our three boarders had a fabulous time. Both Pixel and Cookie went swimming and chasing balls into the sea, whilst Frankie charged round like a gazelle in the sand.
Little Pixel who has a number of health issues warmed the hearts of everyone there, as she came to life and showed her courageous little spirit. She was so game chasing ball into the sea and swimming. Everyone could see how happy this lovely day out made her.

We found a lovely new walk at Cliff. It's called Eternal Lakes. Slinky, Rolo, Pickle, Cookie and Hector and Hercules really enjoyed their selves.

I just love Cookie, or 'The Cookie Crumble' my little pet name for him. He is a mischievous little daxie but gets away with blue murder being such a little bundle of cuteness that he is and his fur is as soft as pure silk, never felt fur like this before. 😃 ❤️

Dougie opens the pool with gusto and a big splosh! There is nothing he won't do for his ball. I think he is going for the Gold Cup for diving again this year. 😃

Mabel the cockapoo gets her own way!

MORE FUN IN THE 🌞 🐕 Mabel the Cockapoo is feeling left out of the games! 😢 She wants someone to play with her in the sandpit. She eventually gets her own way by enticing Mabel the chocolate dapple daxie into the sandpit with her and this makes her so happy. 😃
