We’ll be closing Eco Dog Care at the end of the month.

After 12 years of knowing you and your dogs, it’s a hard decision. But I had a bad accident last Winter and haven’t yet recovered. My friends and family (finally) convinced me that stopping isn’t failing.

My sister, Karen, my husband, Alan and I are deeply appreciative of your support of our small biz. We’ve learned alot from you but most of all we know that you love your dogs and will do anything you can to keep them loved, safe & well.

Our pup headcount is now at 8, barely above the cat total 🙄 and all are rescues. We’ll donate excess inventory to rescue groups that want them.

As the weather gets warmer, you might be tempted to let your dog swim in a local fresh water pond. Please be ultra-cautious if you spot blue-green algae. Frankly, it can look “pretty” and seem relatively safe. You tell yourself “it’s only a little” - it can be deadly your dog. The attached is from The Whole Journal who we trust but talk to your vet for more info.

Signs of blue-green algae poisoning can begin within 30 minutes of ingestion.
