For those of you following along (I'm 95% sure that's RB) - 6 weeks down and 2 weeks to go - time is flying by 😳

Earlier in the week I posted a video from 2021 of MG at 4mo doing her ecollar drills. Not only did some dipsh*t not realize the video was from 2021 they even commented that "training with pain" (so dumb) was not only going to ruin her but it will also ruin our relationship long term because she won't trust me and she'll fear me 🤔 Here's MG 4 years later on 4/19/25 absolutely soul crushed and our relationship hanging on by a thread - poor Maeve 😂

I'm getting soft in my old age - I got a fancy and pricey food container for Porter (red or blue boy). At this rate I might have to ask one of my strict badass puppy class clients to raise him the first 4 months for me 😬😂

My puppy classers are just built different - 6mo Bo is fully ecollar trained 3 days ahead of schedule 😎 Great job preparing him Team Bo!

Owners: Very motivated! They've officially hit the dog they're dealing with vs the dog they're enjoying phase
First Thought: You're fu***ng huge for 7mo 😳
The Good Stuff: EXCELLENT in his crate, dog and peep friendly and very smart. His white coat swag definitely sucks though 😬
Training Extra: Currently Charley is a major pain in the ass but I see that as a good thing. Every Doodle I've worked with who was like Charley turned out awesome as long as the owners put in the work and followed the plan - luckily for Charley he has those types of owners, they just need me to get them started 😎

Received a very nice email today from a lady who is getting a pup around the same time I'm getting Porter and she's wants to be prepared as possible (love that). Her biggest concern is what treats to get or how much of his food she should use for training? Turns out I've never used a treat or food to train a puppy or any dog for that matter. All she'll need is a slip lead or a prong collar (just like MG, Porter will go straight to prong - I waited a week for Dutch) and to be patient. Her mind was blown 😃

For my local peeps whose dog(s) need an excellent and affordable teeth cleaning....

Niki's Place is offering a dental special for the rest of April. All dental cleanings are $500 which will include up to 5 extractions (does not include K9 extractions). Bloodwork required for any dog 6 years and older special price for the bloodwork is $75. We do dentals Monday thru Friday. Call us to book your dog or cat's dental appointment at 480-279-6454.

I'll post this again in 3 weeks - just wanted to give all the newbies here a sneak peak into what the next 4 months (and most important months) will look like for Porter 😃

Crazy numbers for Red or Blue boy by the time he's 6mo and big reasons as to why he's going to be a badass by the time he's 6 months old 😀

- He'll have 2000+ hours of crate time
- He'll have 500+ hours of place time
- He'll have 250+ hours of MG time
- He'll have 125+ hours of interaction time with boarders and board and trains
- He'll have 60+ hours of meeting new peeps
- He'll have 60+ hours of training (basics, advanced, off leash and other stuff)
- He'll have 20+ hours of listening to fireworks and other sounds blasted super loud on tv
- He'll have 20+ hours of car time
- He'll have 350+ hours of structured free time, play time, petting and zoomie time
- He'll have 10+ hours of door dodging training
- He'll have 7+ hours of vacuum training
- He'll get his nails clipped every two weeks
- He'll get a bath a week for the first two months and a bath every two weeks for the other two months
- There are definitely going be other things but this is the main stuff for the first 4 months

By 6mo Porter is going to be a badass young Rottie just like Dutch, MG and a TON of puppy classers before him 😎

The number one question/concern I get about Puppy Class is if it's ok if they don't have their shots yet- the answer is YES! Here's why - let's begin....

- My house is safer than your vets's office. I know all the dogs coming in, I clean regularly and no dogs here are sick unlike at a vets office.
- I have MG (Porter soon) and I need to keep her safe at all times too
- Puppy class goes over dangers for a pup that isn't fully vaxxed yet that most pup owners are unaware of and how to avoid them
- We go over which vaccines to get and which ones to avoid
- Puppy class is a one time 2-3 hour session and the only dog(s) the pup will interact with are MG and soon it will include Porter 😎
- Over 350+ puppy classes and not one health issue

Came across this gem today of to the day 4 month old MG doing her ecollar training. I've been looking up puppy videos of MG and Dutch to gauge where Porter should be at 8wo - 10wo - 12wo - 16wo and so on 😎

Rizzo the super fearful Shepherd mix arrived yesterday. Rizzo's owner was a bit concerned about doing a board and train because he has epilepsy and needs to be given phenobarbital twice a day which can't be missed - turns out that I just happen to know a guy who's pretty experienced with epilepsy and phenobarbital 😎

8wo Recker came in for his puppy class today! Recker was 1 of 7 boys who was just adopted from Rotten Rottie Rescue on Thursday. His owners are awesome and want him to mature into the best version of himself which they know starts now 😎

I just realized that the last time I shared how I raise my personal dogs was Maeve 4 years ago (feels like yesterday)! What I'm getting at is that a sh*tload of new peeps have followed me since then so my advice to some of those new peeps who are looking forward to seeing me raise Porter (which is awesome) you might want to invest in a nice set of pearls to clutch because this isn't your typical let your puppy do whatever the f**k it wants to or just let them be a puppy dog training, this is the complete opposite (my puppy class is 100% based on this) - you've been given a 3 week headstart warning 😃

I'm sure going to miss having Moka around to help me raise Porter - MG doesn't have Moka energy but after seeing this video she did learn from the best so Porter better watch out 😃
