5.5mo Raz (Dobie) is crushing it - not bad for him only being home 5 days 😎

"Raz has been so amazing today. I teleworked today and he was just a dream. He is doing wait for food, for doorways, he comes in the backyard when called without even a tap, and stops a bark with just nope. He did his come, place, down like a trooper, and is in place and only broke once..."

That's a good sign! After running around the greenbelt for 15m (first time in 30 days) and just waking up after sleeping on his left back leg for 3 hours (has been stiff after laying down) I love seeing that he has normal weight on it (he usually has that left leg 6-10in back of the right one) and was moving without a tiny limp. Hopefully we finally found a maintenance plan that works - looking forward to adding Adequan Canine next week too.

After further review I don't think it's Dutch's hip that's bothering him, I think it's his hock. Yesterday we started doing laser therapy on it twice a day for 15m. Also, I decided to start him on Adequan Canine (monthly injection) next week as preventive maintenance - Fu***ng Dutch 😀

For some reason I never taught Olive to jump into a car when she was here for b/t over the summer and since her owners are sick of lifting her up they asked if I could teach her to jump in - this took 30 secs 😎

My lung post turned into a TON of peeps contacting me about what do I eat if I don't eat vegetables (7 years veggie free) or fruit (5 years fruit free) - well here's what's usually in my house minus raw milk at the moment. Pretty much all I've eaten for 3 years - annnd yes my cholesterol and blood work are PERFECT.

- Grass fed/finished ground beef ($5.99lb at Natural Grocers)
- Grass fed/finished meat (Denver, flat iron, strip and ribeye - Denver is my fav especially at $7 for 8oz)
- Cheese (no more than 3 ingredients)
- Beef Tallow
- Bacon (no sugar added)
- Daisy sc (one ingredient)
- Grass fed/finished beef sticks
- Eggs
- Butter
- Salt (Redmonds only and I use a ton)
- Mussels
- I do eat seafood just not that much
- I don't eat much chicken because it's low in fat, I want to eat fatty foods.

After an awesome 12 year run 2024 was my first full EK9T year without Moka and I think these two (especially MG because I put most of the workload on her) did a great job of continuing what Moka started and in many ways this dynamic duo added to/improved EK9T. We look forward to sharing 2025 and our 13th year in biz with you all!

Dutch update!

It pains me to say this but after 3 months (I give anything new atleast 8 weeks) I didn't see much of a change with Dutch's mobility giving him Wuffes (Moka had unbelievable results). So I decided to go with Plan B since Plan A was costing me $100 a month will little to no results (I have no problem spending money but I do have a problem with wasting money).

Plan B is not only costing me half a month what Wuffes was but after only 2 weeks I'm already seeing results - I've included pics below. Also I think that the laser therapy gun from Wuffes is working so Wuffes hasn't been a complete no go. If MG ever needs a supplement down the road I will still go with Wuffes first and makes changes if necessary.

Last I downsized my platform bed frame from 10in to 4in so Dutch has an easier time getting in bed 😀

Starting Dutch on laser therapy - I'll report back in 6 weeks 😎

Working Blu through her base training with the ecollar (I'm tapping the button for every come, down and nope). A strong base (obedience and lifestyle) is the building block for better behavior - for easy dogs, hard dogs and pups this is where all training should begin and end 😎

I got ambushed by Brutus this morning 😂

It's nice to see MG finally starting to correct. Brody got corrected because he keeps going after her face and his play style was annoying. I stepped in quick due to the fact that I still have 12 years of Moka ptsd in me and not because MG or Brody reacted poorly - they both handled things great and recovered quickly which I was very happy to see (this was great for both dogs)

Fearful Theo meets ultra confident MG for the first time. Pay close attention to how MG goes about things (doesn't baby him and teaches him) and how Theo responds (recovery time) - humans can learn so much from dogs if they would pay attention for a change 😎

Milo always goes a bit too hard - even for MG 😂

My client sent me this video - great stuff! Most dogs don't listen to their owners when they're standing right in front of them 😂 "My son left the front door open, and Walter wanted to see what were everyone went. But he still listened like a good boy"
