** REMINDER SCHOOL VACATION WEEK **
** NO DAY SCHOOL Monday 2/17 thru Friday 2/21 **

The winds of winter are blowing full force and we’re hunkering down with a FULL house of boarding dogs for February School Vacation Week! We’ll be working hard to give our dogs the vacations they deserve with play, training, enrichment and activities custom suited just for them while you’re away ☃️

Summer boarding is already heating up! Check your calendars so your pup doesn’t miss out on all the fun 🥰

** HOLLISTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS CLOSED **

Due to the incoming weather and Holliston school closure, there will be no Day School Thursday February 6th! We were hoping for some wintery fun, but do not want to put anyone at risk with the potential for unsafe driving conditions being so high ☃️

For inclement weather and other emergencies, Fluxpack will continue to follow both Medfield & Holliston public schools in closure for day school. If ever in doubt, please email us to confirm! ❄️

Reminder Fluxpack is CLOSED for DAY SCHOOL Wednesday through Friday! We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🧡🦃

Tis’ the season for KENNEL COUGH! Please check the status of your dog’s BORDETELLA vaccine. We are seeing more and more of our pups are expiring, and we are headed into prime time for these infections. Please help us keep all of our dogs safe and healthy this winter. If your vet requires your permission to release records, please add Fluxpack to your trusted list 🧡

Wishing you all a healthy and happy holiday season! Remember pancreatitis can send you to the emergency vet because your regular vet is likely closed for the holiday, so watch those leftovers and coach your visitors to avoid extra treats for your dogs this week 🧡

** CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNERS!! **

Another wonderful Halloween Costume Contest comes to a close with our very first REPEAT winner DENALI as Marshmallow Fluff!! Denali’s mom outdid herself with this one, crafting a fully homemade costume for our favorite shy guy, even including his own shedding hair (with spray glue) on the top and sides 😱

Second place goes to BURLY as the King! Tied for 3rd were DABO the Dino & IGGY the Pumpkin 🎃 Cowgirl Maya and our Belle-arina round out our winners for 2024!! 🧡🚀🧡

A hearty CONGRATS and a hefty gift basket go home with Denali! He and his buddies will enjoy chews and prizes from the incomparable 😍🥰🧡

Our FRIDAY dogs rounded out our Halloween Costume Contest with some fantastic looks! We start out with and iconic diva, our Belle-arina and she was followed by Taos’ hilarious banana costume! Axl gave us chills getting into the act in his vampire costume and Yuki looked so cute continuing the Dinosaur theme. Our favorite meatball Max went for a magical theme rocking his wizard costume 🧙‍♂️

Our THURSDAY dogs were up for the Halloween challenge and rolled up with more wonderful costumes! Zeus pulled off his Minion costume with ease and Taj wanted to be the most regal of the bunch as another handsome King. Remi was adorable in his pumpkin costume and George rocked bat wings that were just perfect for him! We wrapped up with cool cowgirl Lizzy 🧡

Our WEDNESDAY brought some heavy hitters, and they absolutely exceeded expectations! Maya the rodeo pony needed action shots for full effect and Iggy was the cutest pup in the pumpkin patch! Last year’s winner Denali followed up a best in show performance with a stunner of a homemade marshmallow costume and Leo was a perfectly grumpy Grinch 🥰

Our TUESDAY dogs did not disappoint with an array of Halloween costumes fit for royalty! Burly was regal as the King and Dabo jumped in on the Dinosaur Train. Nellie bewitched us with a classic Halloween look while birthday girl Rosie was the Queen of the day! Chief Brody embodied his favorite superhero complete with 6 pack 😆

Our MONDAY dogs came to play with a great start to our Halloween costume contest! Brothers Max and Moussa came as dinosaurs and Champ & Moose sported festive season bandanas! Scully Rose embraced a pirate theme, Franklin was a perfectly handsome devil and Chloe really wanted to join the dino theme, so who were we to dissuade her!

The Fluxpack team is heading to New York this weekend for Jay Jack’s “Play as the Way” seminar! Friday night we’ll kick off a fun filled weekend representing at a GRC trial hosted by with our own Jamie Whitbeck judging Social Responsibility Testing and Spring Pole! Saturday & Sunday we’ll be learning to deliver biologically appropriate play-based outlets for our dogs from himself 🚀

These kinds of opportunities allow our team to enhance their skills as well as network with other canine professionals to build a regional support network for all these special pups, and of course we can’t wait to bring what we learn home to all of our fluxpack dogs 🥰
