I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas season! We had a blast these past two weeks with some needed time off and got to relax and have lots of fun with family 🩷

This past week we were in Kelowna ringing in the New Year, and had to check out a private dog park up there! When possible, my vacations definitely include dogs haha 😂 🩷

Happy New Year everyone, I can’t wait for the Run a Mutt fun that’s in store for 2025! 🥰

Today we got to play at the beach with Arrow the Dutch Shepherd and Blu the Australian Cattle Dog! 😍🎅🏻 They will be adoptable soon through The Farm ~ both were lovely and polite, and are going to make their future families very happy 🥰

My heart hurts as we lost another beloved member of our group, Eddy. He has been with me for years, and was a staple adventure member on Wednesday’s.

Eddy was a charismatic boy who was always smiling and chatting to you, and enjoyed hanging out with his best friends on hikes.

I will miss you Eddy-Spaghetti, Edwardo, aka Edweirdo, our lovable dorky doodle dandy. Have fun on the rainbow bridge 🌈

Corona ~ 2010 - 2024

This is a tough year for losses, our lovable and quirky Corona joins her previously departed Run a Mutt friends on the rainbow bridge 🌈

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Corona for the past 10 years, she treated each day as a grand adventure and always was down for a good snuggle and a cookie.

I will miss you girlie, and join your momma in remembering the wonderful life you had 🩷

We are sending a sweet farewell to the lovely Maria as she leaves the Run a Mutt crew to start her own training business Two Peaks Pet Services!

It has been wonderful watching you grow to the trainer you are now, and I know you’ll be successful at whatever you set your mind to 🫶🏻

Oh sweet Banditt, I will miss you 🥹 One of the smallest of the group with the largest personality and the biggest heart 🧡

A favourite memory of mine (one of many over the years) was singing Bohemian Rhapsody in the car on the way to the hike, and Banditt would join the sing along when we belted “Mama! Ooooo!” with the most confident howl ~ he knew he had a great voice 🧡

I, as well as many other who knew him, join his Momma and family in their grief of his loss.

You did good buddy. Have fun on the rainbow bridge 🧡

Puppy Preschool 🩵

Our next no cost Puppy Preschool runs Tuesday January 23rd, 6:30pm - 7:15pm! You can register right up until 12pm the day of 😄 We want our baby dogs to get started out on the right foot in life! For the first time ever we are offering our two night session of puppy preschool at no cost! 🥰 A huge bonus of this upcoming session is it is located at Courtenay Veterinary Clinic ~ not only are we building up confidence and foundation work with our baby dogs with our regular material, but they are also having fun in a vet clinic which builds a positive association by going to the vets, something they will definitely all be doing throughout their life! 🩵🐾 This class is appropriate for puppies ages 10-20 weeks old! 🩵 Did your pup miss the age requirement this session? Don’t sweat it ~ we will be running another one in February! We also have our basic obedience classes coming up if your pup is older than 20 weeks ~ we will work on your pups New Year’s resolutions of having the best year ever! 🥳 This class has two trainers plus two veterinary staff members assisting ~ if you are interested in attending please email us to reserve your spot at; [email protected] It’s one of our favourite classes to teach!
