Dixie Doodle Puppies
Dixie Doodles has been a dream of my fifteen year old daughter Kayla’s since she found out she was severely allergic to dogs. Four years ago we embarked on our Doodle journey to find a dog for Kayla to love without putting her life in danger. Fast forward... My daughters Kayla and Kenna are very hands on with our dogs and spend a lot of time working with them. Our goal is to try to put the most loving puppy into its Furever home with minimal
stress to the puppy or its Furever Family. All of our puppies come with their first set of puppy vaccinations, health check-up, dew claws have been removed, transition food, health records & more. Once we have received your application & Deposit and once the puppies are born Kayla, Kenna and I will send you weekly updated photos of your puppy & the adventures they’ve had during the week. By the time your Furbaby is ready to come home they will have already began the beginning stages of being potty and crate trained. To a schedule geared towards working homes. Puppies will come home well socialized being raised with four little humans. They have been outside to explore, they have been on car rides, they have experienced baths & pedicures – Everything we can expose them so they adapt easily.
The First couple of weeks are critical as far as care and monitoring but not real exciting! At this age, they are adorable handfuls of suckling/sleeping babies. Before 4 days old we have our first Vet visit with Dr. Norton and he checks our puppies weight and takes care of our Dew claws. Between days 10 – 14 the puppies will open their eyes. Once they open their eyes, they will start to explore more and start learning how to walk.
Weeks four and five they will start to wean off Mom & transition to actual dog foods. This is when we really get to see their little personalities – They also will be able t0 go outside in our secured play area where they can explore with each other and, learn it is OK and safe to be outside alone.
