We are based in Ilford and for the last 63 years have taught riding lesson to both adults and children from beginner to advanced level. In addition, we continually train our students for their British Horse Society Examinations. Children from 5 years of age are taught the basic skills and go on to enjoy Pony Club events and fantastic school holiday courses throughout the year,

Adults are invit

ed to attend individual lessons and small groups, ranging from complete beginners to advanced level. We also offer private tuition for any abilities. Aldborough Hall boasts a large indoor arena (60m x 25m) and outdoor sand school (100m x 40m) where you can do flatwork and jumping. We offer a large variety of horses and ponies that fit the needs of our clients. These range from fabulous well-behaved ponies - perfect for children to learn from, up to high quality 'all round' horses, capable of show jumping, dressage and eventing, many of which have been bred in house over the years. There is also an on-site riding and country wear shop that can provide our clients with all the necessary equipment, plus providing snacks and refreshments of a weekend. Aldborough hall has not renewed its riding school licence so will no longer offer riding lessons. Our staff and some of the horses will be moving yo Docklands Equestrian Centre 21st August and lessons will recommence as soon as we get organised.
