The Brown-Nosed Bleppenfloofer: A Field Guide.
The Brown-Nosed Bleppenfloofer (Canis Gianormous Schnozzus) is a fascinating and elusive creature that roams the hills and valleys near the town of Newberg, Oregon. Its nocturnal nature means that sightings are rare. Thought by scientists to be a black panther/domestic swine hybrid, the Bleppenfloofer’s primary method of obtaining sustenance is to camouflage itself in the darkness, lie in wait, and then scare the living $&@? out of unsuspecting delivery drivers from behind so that they drop all of their biscuits on the ground and run away in panic. The Bleppenfloofer can then root thru the dirt and debris with its powerful, penetrating, probing proboscis in order to pursue and pilfer its purloined offerings. But when food grows scarce, the gentle and gregarious Bleppenfloofer is also quite capable of foraging in daylight, which it does by the simple expedient of parking its ample posterior on the steps of the UPS truck, refusing to budge, and bombarding the hapless driver with kisses and slobber until the necessary biscuit tribute has been paid in full!

3rd UPDATE:
Doc just called. She's really happy with his recovery so far & they did get him to eat. They will try to wean him off the IV pain meds with the hopes of going home on Saturday. He's on lots of meds, probiotics, anti nausea & appetite stimulant & she's going to email me some pics because no in hospital visitors. They want to make sure they can open back up fully with no set backs.

He is out of surgery & in ICU. Keep the prayers & good thoughts coming as he is not out of the woods yet.

UPDATE: SURGERY TODAY @1:30.

Please keep our sweet Roscoe in your thoughts & prayers as he has just been diagnosed with a tumor in his colon. He was admitted to the hospital last night and I'm waiting to hear the results from the CT scan. If it hasn't spread and can be removed with surgery, it will be performed as soon as possible.
He just had FHO surgery in February and now this. I'm beyond worried so please send healing thoughts to our boy.
