Our Quarterly AKC CGC, Trick Dog, Star Puppy (if applicable) evaluations are approaching!

When: Sunday, October 20, 2024
Where: Allegiance Canine -

Time: Testing begins at 2PM.

A couple of points I’d like to mention (from Cyndi)…

1) Positive vibes! These testings are meant to be FUN. Positive reinforcements are required and second chances are given.

2) For the AKC CGC, if there is not a pass the first time, there is no charge.

3) For the AKC CGC, for Jr handlers (18years & younger), there is no charge to me as the evaluator.

Admittedly, I’m a sucker for smaller TRAINED dogs.

Indie is a social butterfly, so this environment was somewhat of a challenge, but by reading the dog at the end of the leash, decisions were made to ensure that this “outing” was a success for her. The next goal is working inside of a store environment. Nice work from my (temporary) pint sized partner!

Reshaping this guy’s perception of people & the actions he would previously take, by establishing the importance of engagement & also inserting firm but fair consequences to unwanted actions… This was definitely a successful outing & I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome!

Exposure & proper conduct in public for Judea, heel work for Cinque, & continuing the process of curving Masa’s over stimulation which leads to reactivity…

3 sessions in 3 1/2 hrs = good time management 😂🙏🏾

Cosmo doesn’t fall into the category of extremely dog aggressive, but this rep wouldn’t have been as smooth 2 weeks ago in the proximity of other dogs! She’s learned where value lies as it pertains to her attention & because of such, she’s able to exhibit neutrality around dogs & other animals in general.

Nothing says “good morning” like 120+ K - 5th graders who were eager to share their career aspirations while also providing multiple details about their own dogs. A special thanks goes out to for the invitation to participate in their career day festivities! We’re always appreciative of these opportunities to sow seeds.
