They sold the Front-Connection™ harnesses world-wide to Trainers, Humane Societies, SPCAs, Shelters, Pet Stores, and Veterinarians. After 17 years Mike and Linda licensed their patents and trademarks and closed Softouch Concepts, Inc. Their Licensee is National Webbing Products, NWPharness.com

Mike and Linda Lady are now retired and Linda is still training horses.

Our Story

Softouch Concepts, Inc. was established in 2002 by Mike and Linda Lady. Linda is a positive reinforcement dog and horse trainer who invented the first Front-Connection™ (aka Front-Clip) harness. Their harness manufacturing was launched in their garage and moved to a commercial site in 2003. Their first patented harness model was called the SENSE-ation® to raise awareness of the link between sense of touch and dog behavior. It is made with soft polyester webbing for extra comfort. In 2004 we developed our SENSE-ible® harness to offer the same patented design for a lower cost. Softouch Concepts, Inc. has created dog-friendly solutions for harmony between dogs and their owners, to support greater and long term companionships for over 17 years.
