WCH is a small-scale hedgehog breeder located in Corvallis, OR. Along with raising adorable, friendly babies, we offer rescue and boarding services, actively help educate new and old owners about hedgehogs, and conduct a variety of research projects to further the world's knowledge of these unique pets.

We're so grateful to already have a few people interested in adopting from the group of six senior hedgies we took in recently! We've had our hands full here but will post who is available once we get through our current contacts. We also took in a darling baby ball python who should be ready for adoption in a month or so! He's doing great so far, but we want to get a little weight on him and ensure he's eating frozen thawed meals reliably before finding him a loving home.

I'm delighted to share that our adult fire-bellied toads spawned last night! All day I have been checking on the eggs, since they develop SO rapidly. I expect most to have hatched by the time I'm up tomorrow morning - then comes gently transferring them to their baby nursery, right next to their siblings from last summer who are about the size of M&Ms! 🐸

Hi everyone! I sincerely apologize that a bunch of you have been left hanging over the past week regarding feeder orders. In our effort to streamline the process and respond more reliably, we've hit a few speed bumps. 😅 We are still trying to sort out a solution on our end, but should be able to follow up with everyone by the end of the day - if you don't hear from myself or Nathan, feel free to check in!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us yesterday! It was a great show. Navigating vending + being first time parents to an almost 1 year old was not nearly as challenging as it could have been, in large part due to everyone being flexible around Kate's needs!

This gorgeous rosy boa is a very lucky girl who was reserved yesterday, and will be going home with an awesome family as soon as they're finished setting up her enclosure.

We're busy preparing for tomorrow's Nebraska Reptile Breeders Expo! Can't wait to see everyone. Friendly reminder there are no live mammals allowed at this show, so we won't have any ambassador hedgehogs or mice and rats. But if you like snakes and bugs, we've got you covered!
