We had to settle for Aquapuncture, instead of Acupuncture, for Lily's 2nd treatment. Even pre-medicated, Lily would not sit still for her scheduled treatment. And she made an angry face, that we've never seen before, to let us know that she was not pleased to be there.😠 To add to Lily's displeasure, her nails were also trimmed (after this pic) since they're growing like weeds without her daily long walks.🐾
If anyone can "communicate" with her, please let Lily know that we're only trying to help with her recovery.❤️‍🩹

This is Gus. Gus was returned to Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue on Saturday. He was adopted from CCDR as a cart dog in 2020. The bad news is that his family recently experienced some major life changes and they had to return him, but the good news is that he no longer needs to use his cart and he gets around with a "stiff walk." At Gus's last dental he had all of his teeth removed, but his new look adds to his quirky personality. We'll be looking for his next adopter after we get reacquainted with Gus, who is being fostered in Middletown, PA.
