Sweet blue always brightens the day even on those grey sky days.
It’s been one of those rainy days in the south. Luckily we got most of our outdoor projects caught up yesterday that we can focus on the indoor task of Tuesdays, harvesting and planting microgreens 🌱. It’s a big part of the week for us. From getting all the orders cut and ready for the restaurant deliveries tomorrow to planting all our successions for the following week(s). Also it’s a good day to get some admin work done when the weathers like this.

This week’s shining star…Fennel!
Another first time grow on the farm. This vegetable is beautiful. And so many cool benefits. Did you know that fennel is great in aiding digestion, helps regulating blood pressure, good for healthy skin and so much more.
The flavor is a mild licorice flavor and refreshing. It can be eaten raw, roasted, sautéed and added to many different types of soups and salads.
If you are in the area stop by and pick some up for your next meal. We’ll be at the in North Myrtle beach from 10-3 and Conway under the main bridge from 8-1. Pick some up while we have them. Who knows. You may find a new favorite vegetable 😃💚

This week’s featured Veggie is the captivating Purple Kohlrabi!
Often overlooked, this beauty has a delightfully crisp, mildly sweet refreshing crisp. Some say a slight hint of apple. It can be enjoyed raw or cooked. It makes a great addition to any salad, stir-fries and even smoothies. Oh, don’t throw out the leaves. They are totally edible. They can be sauted or chopped and served in a salad.
Lastly, not only is it delicious , it also provides lots of fiber, vitamins C and B6. So what are you waiting for?! Pick some up and try it for your self.
We’ll have some this weekend at both our markets. You can find us at the in North Myrtle Beach on Friday from 10-3 and Downtown Conway under the main bridge from 8-1pm. Hope to see you there. ❤️ ✌🏼 😊.

Another beautiful day at the farm! Today we had some special guests HalleyMay and camera man Dustin from Grand Strand Today visit the farm today.
It was such a wonderful time showing you around and sharing how we take care of our community and our Earth everyday. One day never seems to be enough 😉🌎💚. It truly takes a village of unity to make the dream come to life and stay alive. Thank you all that support our farm. From our farm family to our community here and afar…thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕.

Love it when I can merge my two passions together, Photography + Food!! Busted out my camera gear for a fun shoot at .
Bringing fresh local greens to our community has been our mission when we first set out on this farming journey. Four years later it has become a reality through the many local restaurants that serve our fresh produce and our local farmers market. So it’s only fitting that we give them the shout out hey deserve.
I’d like to start by giving a big shout out to Chef Meke - and all the people who make it happen each and everyday at Hook and Barrel. Make your way to their wonderful establishment this weekend and see what Southern hospitality is all about.
Pictured here is their H&B House Salad (using our lettuce greens 😊), The Tuna Necoise Salad and their Blackened Salmon entree topped with a pineapple mango salsa. All dishes using our microgreens too 😃. Yum, yum and yum!!
