Enjoy The Happiness

Enjoy the happiness are the 3 words that changed my life. After I brought Charlotte home I almost immediately got cold feet. I mean I really freaked out! I called the lady I purchased her from and told her my concerns and she asked me what I was afraid off? At that p0int in my life I was afraid of a lot of things, most of all being diagnosed with breast cancer. But when I saw Charlotte for the first time I had nothing but joy in my heart and honestly didn't even care at that moment about my breast cancer diagnosis. I felt a joy that I hadn't experienced since I had my kids.

This little pig brought out the inner happy little girl in me, the one that has always had a passion for animals of all kinds. You see I've always been an animal lover and now I'm following that passion and hearing my calling loud and clear. I was having a pretty dark day the day I meet Charlotte. My future felt uncertain and I was frankly scared like I've never been before. Now looking back I realize that I needed to feel that fear so that I could relate to the people that I would soon be meeting through my pet therapy service.

Sometimes I think...How did I get to this point? Why am I starting a pet therapy service? A free service. I don't charge for. Why you ask? Because I have seen the magic that Charlotte brings to people. Its truly incredible to be able to do something through my passion for animals that can touch someones life in a way that can only be explained as Godly.

So, here I am. Starting a non profit at the age of 48years old. Breast cancer behind me now and a vision of the future as bright as ever. Dreaming of Charlotte & Friends as a service without limits. A service that I see growing and serving those in need battling their own diseases be it physical, emotional or mental. Charlotte & Friends wants to make their day just a little bit brighter.
