KARLA'S KOATS
Karla’s Koats evolved in early 2018 as a direct result of a show dog, (named Karla), with a wavy coat and the inability to easily locate a well made, quality, satin coat to apply after grooming to help keep the coat flat and shiny. After one show, I went out and bought materials to make my own. Others then saw Karla and the coat and I was asked to make more and more...End result = 'K

arla's Koats'. Karla's Koats are individually hand crafted, using good quality textiles, and created during quiet times outside of my regular employment. The coats are created in various sizes, fabrics, colours and added for sale, in their sizes, on the SHOP as they are completed, and the photo removed as soon as practical after they are sold. Custom colours, particular fabrics, embroidered name etc may be ordered. Coats can be hand delivered if we are attending the same shows, (S.A. based), or *posted to addresses in Australia or Internationally.
*This will incur the added applicable postage and handling costs. Ordering is by messaging this page and payment is preferably by the secure Australian banking 'Pay ID' option. https://payid.com.au/

Payment may be made via 'Pay ID' (in Australia only) or cash (in person) and must be made to confirm your order. Yes - we do post to overseas addresses.

*Embroidering of the coats is also now available, as are a number of added items other than just dog coats. I take pride in their quality and hope you will appreciate your ‘classy coats for dapper dogs’ Karla's Koat, or any of the other added range items.

We have our next Puppy Fundamentals Master Class coming up on Sunday 3rd November and would like to invite anyone with a Border Collie puppy currently, or anyone considering bringing a puppy into their lives to come along and learn from experienced, qualified professionals about EVERYTHING you need to know! We have presentations on health, nutrition, exercise, behaviour, training, managing kids and dogs, managing puppies with other pets, grooming, and even all the activities and sports you can get involved in throughout your dog’s life! I will be competing at the National Border Collie Club event at Dogs Queensland, 30th August - 1st September, and will bring only a limited number of Border Collie sized satin coats with me.

I am also very proud to have been asked to make 4 coats for Nationals winners and looking forward to seeing those awarded.

In frustration after a show I went out and bought materials to make my own, others then saw the coat and I was asked to make more for them.

The coats are individually hand crafted, using good quality textiles, and made during quiet times outside of my regular employment. They are created in various sizes, fabrics and colours and updated for sale, in their sizes (collection) under the ‘Shop’ tab, on this page as they are completed.

Coats can be hand delivered if we are attending the same shows, or posted to addresses in Australia. This will incur the applicable postage and handling costs. Payment may be made via Pay ID or cash and must be made to confirm your order.
