4:40 am this morning, Tibbs Tango Rythem welcomed a PRETTY palomino c**t sired by the one and only, First Knights Billy Idol.

I started it write a long post of just what all went into this baby right here. But I think I’ll save that for another day. Long story short, this baby is a miracle. God is so so good! I can’t thank Janet King enough for this opportunity and the many many times she went over the top to help me out. And then my foaling buddies who stepped up to help through a serious of events that would have left me a mess. And of course my family who not only supported this endeavor but helped in any way they could.

The little guy was very early and is tiny tiny, but passed his vet check with flying colors! More pics to come (maybe more then y’all want 😂) once he has unfolded some and built up some strength!

Need to think of a barn name…I have a few ideas for a registered name. Has to be special for this little guy!

It’s that time again….foal watch. Two late foals this year. Belle is 308 days and has a small udder. Rythem is 283 so still has a while but good to get her in the routine especially since she and Belle are buddies. Praying for two healthy foals in the coming weeks!!!

Well that’s what’s left of my pole barn. At least part of it. Midland got hit by a terrible storm on 5/16/24. I had just left town for a show when I got the call that my barn was gone. Found it on a neighbors property. Thank you Lord all the horses were fine (really a miracle). Spooked, but fine. Some wonderful friends and neighbors stepped up to help get my horses situated while I was gone.

My bred mares and foal were at a different location so they were also fine.

I am really excited to see how this boy matures. He received lots of compliments at the shows. He was a typical baby boy, and threw his fair share of tantrums. Nonetheless, he’s getting there! Excuse the oversize halter on him, obviously his head is too small for a yearling halter. He’s now back in the weanling halter lol. Got some work to do before worlds but he’s getting there!

He’s been very hit or miss showing as he’s extremely laid back and doesn’t get too amped up about anything. That has changed some this year and he’s starting to show glimpses of what we all knew was there. Got some work to do before worlds but he’s getting there!

Excuse the scruffy partially shed out/partially clipped coat….but look at that belly!!! After all she’s been through, seeing it grow and her happy and healthy means so much. Loooooong way to go, but so grateful she’s still here to give us a chance. Not many know how bad it got, but let’s just say she and her baby are a living miracle!

Belle’s foal was kicking up a storm last night! She’s 314 days and making slow but steady progress.

Ignore the storage on the porch as we continue projects…Rythem is still in quarantine so on the backyard LOL. But man she’s feeling better. Still lots of weight to gain and it’d be nice if she starts to drink water again soon.

Volume up! I keep saying this little colt is one of if not the sweetest baby I’ve had. This is how he met me at the gate. And look at that little head 😍

I know I know, this is the second video of Silvie I have posted recently….but she’s just so funny. She already rules the herd even though she’s the smallest by far.

This filly is something else. She may be itty bitty but she is FULL of sass!

Happy 2 months Silvie. Love this tiny girl! Should mature well under 30”, currently on track for 28-29. Excuse the terrible cut. Just wanted to see a bit more without taking too much hair off.

Foals never cease to make me laugh, and Bravado is no exception. Love how he runs to his dam at the end to help his wounded ego.

Foal watch antics....Rhythem has to foal soon....surely. I think she’s enjoying how sleep deprived I am. Doesn’t she know she’ll feel better after foaling???
