Grit's Pasture LLC Design: We offer one-of-a-kind environmentally friendly apparel and textiles, which meet the highest quality standard. We use plant matter to create natural dyes, and apply textile manipulation techniques to create unique pieces of wearable art. Grit's Pasture LLC Services: We offer horse boarding services at our 5 acre farm. Our facilities include 10 indoor 12x12 stalls, heated

tack room, 5 paddocks with lean-to shelters, 3 grass turn-out paddocks, 60x60 indoor arena, and a 115x200 outdoor arena. Our farm is located on the North-West corner of Nevada, just 10 minutes from Ames. If you are looking for a friendly and quiet environment and personalized care for your "equine friend and partner," then we are the perfect place for you. Full-service boarding is available.

We had some very special ladies come visit Grit’s Pasture today! Tamara from Academia Italiana and Hannah from the University of the Arts London took a couple of hours out of their busy schedule from ISU study abroad activities to meet and play with our horses, sheep, and chickens!
And they rocked the Cowgirl look!
We hope to see them again very soon!

The lambs are making progress, they are now wearing their collars with pride and we moved from petting to brushing. Annie let me brush her face this morning a d teuer enjoyed it!

Meet our newest additions to Grit’s Pasture. Three little lambs! There were only supposed to be 2, but how could I pick 1 out of these cuties and send it to the “wrong” trailer. Welcome, lucky girls!
