I'm opening up new hour-long classes for basic obedience for puppies and adult dogs at the Mill Creek Parks and Recreation starting on Sept. 19th and running for six weeks. I'm really excited about being able to offer this option along with my classes in Lynnwood!

If you're interested in either class, they're held on Monday evenings, at 6 pm for the puppy class and 7:15 pm for the adult class. If you want to join or know of someone who might be interested, please check out the classes through the link below. Thanks!

It's National Dog Day! Today, we make a special effort to honor and help dogs everywhere. Here are some ideas to help this day be a truly helpful day for dogs:

1 - Donate blankets food & toys to an animal welfare organizations
2 - Donate money to a shelter or dog cause to support their efforts
3 - Take an older person's dog for a walk
4 - Give your dog a good brushing or take them to a groomer
5 - Take your dog to the beach
6 - Teach your dog a new skill or trick
7 - Take your new puppy somewhere new to help him or her get socialized
8 - Sign your dog up for puppy or dog training
9 - Write your congressman about banning puppy mills
10 - Adopt a shelter dog (or two) and give them a forever home

What will you do today to support National Dog Day?
