Clients who don’t currently use our spa day services I have a question ❤️

When we closed our stanwell salon we offered a spa day service to our stanwell clients which meant they were collected from their homes between 7 and 9am and dropped off between 2 and 4pm which over 100 of our clients took us up on and have been working this way for almost 2 years!

Is anyone who lives anywhere, who currently drops their dogs to us interested in either the same kind of service (which is £10 for one dog and £15 for two) and includes a walk and playtime with other friendly dogs.

Or, is interested in dropping their dogs between 8am and 9am and collecting between 2 and 4pm? This service wouldn’t have an extra charge attached (reason being it’s not really extra work on our part) and actually helps us out in some ways as allows for a better flow to the day and means the dogs don’t have to be in their crates as the door is always open and closing.

Anyone interested? Or thoughts?

It never gets easier when you hear one of your clients dogs have passed away. We have such bonds with all the dogs we groom. Today I was meant to cut a Dolly who recently passed away and a new client asked me to fit their pup in. Here we are grooming this absolutely beautiful cockalier and while I’m sad Dolly is no longer with us you sent us a good pup to take your place so Thankyou Dolly ❤️❤️

For those who didn’t book their appointments for the year please be mindful as the weather warms up we have an influx of calls and messages from existing and new clients trying to get their dogs cut. We are currently book for the end of July despite us having a new groomer now. This is it, our salon is at capacity and we want to keep our team small so we can have the same close relationships with the dogs we’ve always had. No more groomers/assistants will be joining us in the near future so our capacity will not get better and our wait times longer.

While we appreciate all of our customers and are so happy with the popularity of our salon we are not super human and it isn’t fair on our staff or the dogs to squeeze dogs in left right and centre so please do book your dogs appointments in as soon as possible ❤️

But a year on with loads of cuddles, attention and love and encouragement from their owners they now come in super happy and will jump on the table out of choice. Such good boys ❤️❤️❤️

After two more messages today from lovely clients of ours to tell us their dogs have passed - it totals 18 dogs we’ve lost this year 😩 most of these dogs we’ve been grooming for years and many since we started grooming so we’ve seen them grow up from puppyhood. It’s so heartbreaking as we get to know and love them like our own.

Rest in peace sweet babies ❤️❤️

It was Emily’s birthday on Friday. I had a post scheduled but apparently it didn’t want to post 🙃

Most of you know Emily. She’s been with us for 6ish years now and took over the main day to day running of the salon since I had my little girl (can anyone believe she’ll be 2 in august?!)

Anyway happy birthday Emily and Thankyou for all the hard work you put in every day with the dogs and managing a fabulous team ❤️

Calling ”model” dogs. 40% off grooming prices!

Our grooming assistant Jocelyn graduates this week from her grooming course. She’s looking for practice within the salon to perfect her skills ❤️

We are looking for some model dogs. Your dogs groom will have 40% off our current prices and will include a free upgrade too. Jocelyns work will be overseen by our salon manager, Emily.

Please note while Emily will be present when Jocelyn is working, jocelyn will be working from a picture given by either you, the owner, or Emily from a previous groom we’ve done on your dog. Emily will not be touching your dogs at all during their groom so please understand your dogs may look a little different to usual as Jocelyn learns and puts her own stamp on your dogs groom. Please remember hair grows and while Jocelyn is new to grooming a few mistakes may be made such as cutting the hair a little shorter or a slightly different face shape than usual.

If you are interested please let us know. if you’re dog is already booked in and you’d like to take advantage of this then please drop me a message and we will move your dogs appt over.

Please note these spaces are limited and only a couple a week will be available so we expect they’ll be taken quickly

Emily and I went to Dogfest yesterday. It was rained off in the end but we still had a great time 😂❤️

Got some lovely bits for our own dogs and some new shampoo for our upgrades - so new scents coming soon ❤️

Piper was feeling super sorry for herself all cold and wet and they both needed a good scrub in the bath 😂

Crufts deal and a little piece from a great vet ❤️

If you book a session by Sunday (can be used with your next groom but must be booked by Sunday) they are only £12!

While emmi pet can be used to break down thick plaque and tartar we generally use it to keep teeth in good condition. We have over 50 dogs who use this with every groom to keep their dogs teeth good ❤️

If for any reason your dogs teeth or too bad or they are not tolerant of the teeth brushing we will of course not charge (most dogs are generally fine)

Please note while you will notice better smelling breath and possibly a reduce in tartar and staining after 1 session several and regular sessions are usually advised to keep the teeth in good condition. After the first £12 session our usual charges are £15 a session but you can block book 10 sessions for £130. These can’t be shared between friends but can be split if you have 2 dogs.

As many of you know our salon is currently in the middle of a one way system which is making it difficult to park. While we have the car park only a minute away, there is currently only one space outside the shop.
While our groomers is functioning as normal our natural dog treat shop Rocky and Piper’s Treats is suffering from dipped sales and we’re only 3 weeks into 52 weeks of this!

May I please ask if anyone is after natural treats to please consider purchasing from us when you bring your dogs for a groom or by ordering online and even sharing us with friends who are able to walk to us. You can even order online by using click and collect so your treats will be ready and waiting when you arrive.

Drop a message below to book your pups for 2024. please let me know when your last booked appt is in 2023 and how often you’d like including any days/times that are best for you. Please note we will be having an unavoidable price increase in 2024. For most dogs this will be between £2 and £5. We’ve held off as long as possible on price increases as I know how expensive everything has got now but with a recent rent increase plus bills increasing as well as giving our team a well deserved pay rise it has to be done in 2024.

A lovely video of Taz today after his groom. Think he was trying to wipe off the nice smells 😝😂 I’m so proud of this boy. He was one of our first customers in our deepcut salon and on his first visit he went home really wet and Hardly trimmed. He was quite nervous and his chase drive was so high it was hard to get any equipment near him safety. His owners stuck with us and over the last couple of years his bond with the team, especially Emily, has paid off. He can still be a bit cheeky sometimes but we can now use equipment around him and he’s much less nervous of being groomed. We love you Taz ❤️❤️

Our little princess. Romainian rescue, this little lady came over in her senior years and we didn’t think we’d have her that long. 2 years later, several eye ulcers leaving her with only one eye and nearly blind in the other and she’s doing so well. She gets so excited when she knows she’s coming to the park and has the same routine. Wee, back scratch, poo and then she’s right behind me for the whole walk ❤️

I don’t think I’ve ever met a dog so happy to be here! 🤩❤️

Does anyone else’s dogs communicate with them in strange ways? Barney always taps his bowl if he wants food. Bit late feeding him this morning as I showered first, Jake was downstairs so he tried his tactic with his bowl downstairs and when that didn’t get him food he came upstairs and showed me what he wanted by tapping wispas bowl 😂🤣 He’ll also tap his water bowl if Doris has backwashed in it so he asks for fresh water!
