As many of you know our salon is currently in the middle of a one way system which is making it difficult to park. While we have the car park only a minute away, there is currently only one space outside the shop.
While our groomers is functioning as normal our natural dog treat shop Rocky and Piper’s Treats is suffering from dipped sales and we’re only 3 weeks into 52 weeks of this!

May I please ask if anyone is after natural treats to please consider purchasing from us when you bring your dogs for a groom or by ordering online and even sharing us with friends who are able to walk to us. You can even order online by using click and collect so your treats will be ready and waiting when you arrive.

Please note we will be having an unavoidable price increase in 2024. For most dogs this will be between £2 and £5. We’ve held off as long as possible on price increases as I know how expensive everything has got now but with a recent rent increase plus bills increasing as well as giving our team a well deserved pay rise it has to be done in 2024.

A lovely video of Taz today after his groom. Think he was trying to wipe off the nice smells 😝😂

I’m so proud of this boy. He was one of our first customers in our deepcut salon and on his first visit he went home really wet and Hardly trimmed. He was quite nervous and his chase drive was so high it was hard to get any equipment near him safety. His owners stuck with us and over the last couple of years his bond with the team, especially Emily, has paid off. He can still be a bit cheeky sometimes but we can now use equipment around him and he’s much less nervous of being groomed. We love you Taz ❤️❤️

Please note as the weather warms up we will need to reschedule some appointments when the temperature gets too hot. It’s not just about the heat in the salon, it’s also about safety of dogs travelling to us whether that be on foot or by car. Generally we will move appointments earlier in the day where possible but, in some cases these may have to be moved the another day. When the temperature gets too hot we will contact individuals who need to be moved.

Please understand changing and moving appointments is inconvenient and time consuming for us too and we will be doing this for your dogs safety and well-being so please be accommodating to changes ❤️

After 8 successful and lovely years our stanwell salon is now closed. The decision was a hard one but we wanted to keep the same team we’ve had for years so have decided to keep our deepcut salon only.

We have had over 300 of our clients follow us to our deepcut salon so we are incredibly and lucky and happy about this.

To those of you who need to look for new groomers for whatever reason we are very happy to recommend a couple in the area we have heard great things about!

We are excited to start our new chapter and are excited for many of you to be with us.

Ultrasonic teeth cleaning!

This service has been very popular since it’s launch last year and even more popular since we posted about it earlier this year!

We recommend this service mainly for younger dogs who’s teeth are in fairly good condition to keep them in good condition (prevention better than cure). However, our service can also remove and reduce plaque build up. (Please note we need to assess teeth before cleaning as some teeth do need vet attention)

Our prices are as follows:

Single teeth clean with a groom or stand-alone
4-8 weekly £15 (minimal plaque build up/staining)
10 cleans £130 - paid at first session

Single teeth clean with a groom or stand-alone 8-16 weekly £20 (minimal plaque build up/staining)
10 cleans £180 - paid at first session

Single initial teeth clean or over 16 weeks £25 (minimal plaque build up/staining)
10 cleans £230 - paid at first session

For dogs with plaque build up weekly/twice weekly sessions are recommended initially to break down the plaque.

10 sessions (no more than a week between sessions)
£180 - if sessions are left over once teeth are cleaned these can be changed to single maintenance sessions

Nail clipping in our deepcut salon just £8 🤩 walk ins are available but we suggest texting first to make sure we can see your dog straight away.

Please note dogs who are difficult/aggressive to have nails trimmed must be prebooked to ensure two groomers are on site.

Noo’s Story ❤️

Noo was one of our first deepcut clients. He is a rescue dog and arrived looking as if his body had been fairly recently groomed but his legs and face had been untouched. His owner confirmed this, explained he can be a challenge sometimes and that the previous groomer couldn’t get those bits done.

We didnt know how much of a challenge he’d be but we went in with an open mind and a goal to do as much as we can without stressing him out. The groom was challenging he was very nervous of the dryer and though we managed to get him cut his body was still damp and his face soaked and I dreaded the way he might look after he dried off at home.

His owners were incredibly understanding and when he returned for his next session 4 weeks later I winced at the state of him 😂 to get a good groom result dogs like Noo need to be fully brushed and blowdried before cutting.

We’ve had a few sessions where he wasn’t quite comfortable with us doing certain things eg, nails, brushing his tail etc but generally he’s been quite manageable and a good boy.

He’s been with us 2 years now, but with lots of patience from us and him, and lots of rewards and commitment to a regular grooming schedule from his owners all our work paid off! On Saturday Emily managed to get his face totally dry and he had his first ever groom where he went home looking brilliant and exactly how his owners like.

I can’t tell you how proud of this boy we all are. We work with lots of dogs who have fear reactivity to grooming and the change in all of them is huge but this is one boy who deserves a doggy medal ❤️
