Paris (JC name Waubun) is a 2007 thoroughbred mare. I created this page to show Paris' progress through our training together.

We used the Equicore band system last week. The first part of the video shows us with the bands and the second part is without the bands a few weeks ago. Overall, I think she is doing very well❤️. I also love my Pivo!

I did not know a horse could also teach you how to lose gracefully.
I did not know a horse could instill patience in you.
I did not know a horse could make you listen better.
I did not know a horse could give you their heart.
I did not know a horse could change your life.
I did not know a horse could do all these things...
but now I know. ❤️❤️

Paris looking extra shiny and fuzzy ❤️. We had a lesson today and the trainer commented that she looks like a warm blood. Nope…She’s just a very loved OTTB

We have been working hard on rhythm & relaxation the past few weeks😊

We have been hitting the trails at Sky Horse Farm Inc at least once a week for the past few months after we do flat work in the arena. I think she really enjoys it❤️

Paris and I had a fantastic lesson with Linn Ekvern this weekend! I didn’t get any videos of the lesson but we did try to apply what we learned during our bareback ride today. Paris also passed her vet check on Tuesday! We will be doing light riding for about 6 more months to make sure her suspensory ligament is completely healed. I am so happy!!

We may not be able to jump nor do dressage for several months, but we can still learn tricks😊. We had fun learning how to smile with Bethany Tuskey from Tuskey Dressage! Thank you Sue Schedin for organizing the clinic and @Linn Eckvern for hosting!!

We had a great lesson yesterday with Julie Christie of Equine ETC. Love this mare!

A short video of us doing the jumper class at Jane Braddock’s show yesterday. We struggled with hitting the rails but rocked jumping the obstacles on the XC course!

Today we trailered to Hollow Creek Farm in Menomonie with my daughters and Rochelle Wrisky. I wanted to give Paris more experience off property to increase her confidence. This was Paris’ first time here and she did well! Thank you to Lucy Lammer for letting us ride at her beautiful facility and to Rochelle for trailering us! It was so fun😊
