本校創立於民國五十六年八月，原名「私立仁德高級藥劑職業學校」，後因響應政府作育英才之宗旨並配合社會實際需要，於是規劃增科以培育各項醫事人才。為求校名與學科相符，乃於民國六十年五月奉教育廳教二字第0二七七三一號函，核准更名為「私立仁德高級醫事職業學校」。由於政府技職教育理念的提昇，本校優良之教育環境及教學設施，得以獲教育部肯定，於民國八十八年七月奉教育部教三字第一一九四八七號函，正式升格為「仁德醫護管理專科學校」。
