Harper and the BARCS Boys Keep up with Harper,Fergus, Kuro and Orca and their many (mis)adventures! I adopted Harper in April 2015 from Animal Services in Pinellas County, FL.

She was just 8 weeks old. We moved to Edgewood, MD in May 2015 and I looked for another kitty for Harper to play with. Through BARCS foster Rebecca Kerin, we met Fergus. He's been with us since July 11, and you'd think they had always been together. Fast forward to 2016 - I was looking to add to the family and found Kuro at BARCS. Kuro had been hit by a car and had his back leg amputated. I wanted

to adopt him, but someone was in line before me, so I looked some more and was introduced to Orca. About the time I was getting ready to finalize my adoption of Orca, Kuro's adoption fell through, and they asked if I still wanted him. There was no way I was going to leave him to someone else, so now we have two new additions!
