Dear friends, our cats eat about 20-25 kg of cat food a month. Last month Alyona made us a great gift, a big 20 kg bag of our usual cat food. Thank her so very much for this. If you would like to order us some cat food, please do. Our cats will be very happy. We also always need cat litter. In enormous amounts. Cat food and litter is the best gift for us ever. A couple of days ago someone dumped a momma cat and her kittens in the streets not far from our catloft. They are in shock, hungry and their only hiding place is a sewage pipe. It's almost winter outside and it's getting very cold. We don't now the gender of the kittens as they don't allow anyone near. We'd love to help them but there is no place at the loft for any new cats. So right now we are looking for a foster or a forever home for them. We'll provide you with the cat food and everything you might need. We just need a safe place for them. DM with any questions.

Our Yasmin only seems grumpy. She is not. Quite the contrary actually. She is the sweetest and the cuddliest cat. No kidding. And this grumpy look is just for show. The thing is, Yasmin is very anxious in a big cat company. She really needs her own loving home where she can be the only pet. DM for adoption details.

A few days ago Dulcinea gave us quite a scare. She stopped eating and her tummy seemed to hurt. We went to the vet's and as it turned out her bloodwork and her US are totally fine and she looks healthy. But her tummy still hurt. So the vet suggested she bumped into something and cracked her xiphoid process. Right now Dulcinea is feeling much better, eating well and pain free again. But that was quite a shock. Thank you everyone for your support and kind wishes.

Dulcinea is a bit unwell. She doesn't eat much and it seems like her tummy hurts. Today we went to the vet's, got her bloodwork done and an US. Get the results soon. We'll be grateful for any help.

Today is the seventh and the last day of treatment foe the kittens. We hope they continue to improve after we finish with the meds. Good vibes would be great help now. The babies are playing and eating. They are very tired of shots, hiss and growl at me as soon as they see me. Really sorry for them, but they needed this treatment desperately.

All three kittens are eating. Thank you for your support!

Today our babies felt much better, they were strong enough to play. Eating on their own. Keep on getting them treated.

Whiskers Cat Rescue and Shelter

We are a small no-kill and no-cage animal shelter. Situated in the city of Yekaterinburg. We are quite limited in space, only 25 m2, so we are able to accommodate no more than 15 animals at once. Once there were more but it was hell!!! We foster stray cats, treat them and help them socialize. We assist adoption of our residents and try hard to find forever-homes for them. Our rescue is 100% privately funded, and we are really grateful for all the help given to us. What can you do to help?

First, spread the word about us. Share and re-post. It's the only way for our strays to find their parents.

The second way is to sponsor our residents. Sponsorship donation of 10 euros for a cat helps us to buy them food to last for a month.
