Today’s FURcast called for sprinkles! 🌧 🍦 (see what we did there?) 😂

We postponed our walk and decided to go for lunch time ice cream instead at Bruster’s real ice cream in Palm Bay.

Pup cups come with one small scoop of vanilla ice cream and a milk bone 😍 there’s also picnic tables & shaded outdoor eating areas if you’d like to get out and stretch your legs or just enjoy the weather! (We decided to eat in the car)

🐾 Woof Approved Trail! 🐶

If you’ve been following us since the beginning, you’ve seen this trail before. BUT The City Of Palm Bay recently announced they spent months restoring it, and specifically encouraged residents to take their dogs, so we wanted to check it again and can verify everything looks great!

Fresh paint on pavilions, wood boardwalks fully restored & stained, new direction markers and easy to navigate maps posted along, and beautiful clean picnic areas 😍

When pulling in, just park along the side of the street. There are bathrooms & water fountains to use before you begin your walk. (Don’t forget a travel bowl for your fur babies) We strongly encourage you to bring some snacks or a full on picnic and take advantage of the multiple rest areas with tables & benches and make a morning or afternoon of it since the trail is on the shorter end distance wise. If you’re a fishing or kayaking fan, and your dog is patient enough for those activities, they’re an option as well! The water views are gorgeous, and you’ll be sure to spot some pretty flowers and plants along the way.

Dogs must be leashed at ALL TIMES and please keep the trail as clean as you found it 😊 this is one of the very few dog friendly trails in Brevard and we want to keep it that way!
