What it means to volunteer to foster a homeless pet? Foster parents are a breed of their own. I hope they feel the rewards inside of how your part in their journey provided them a safe landing with lots of TLC. Dogs are so confused, scared, and have anxiety when they end up at an open intake shelter. It's very loud and I honestly believe they can smell death in kill shelters. Then one day if they are lucky, they meet a warm compassionate person who springs them out of that environment and welcomes them to their home. Foster parents are superheroes to these guys. And to us that foster, the dogs are the heroes. No matter their past, most dogs are just waiting to show you unconditional love. Never underestimate your impact and value.You are priceless.

Woo Hoo! Dora Lee found a wonderful home with the Rossill family and is welcomed with lots of love and excitement! Way to go babygirl! You his the doggy lottery! Thanks you to the Rossill family for choosing adoption!

A huge thank you to Gina and hubby for fostering this baby. By them saying yes to fostering, these babies were not euthanized due to space needed for incoming dogs. We are so thankful to have folks that understand the urgency and make a short term commitment to save a life by fostering until adopted! It takes a village. 💯💕

Rescue work has always been so rewarding to me knowing we had a small hand in giving dogs a chance to live a wonderful life full of love with a wonderful family. Phil is smiling down on me. This is the first adoption since he was diagnosed in December. I still have good and bad days but one thing has not changed, the passion and joy I feel when helping animals. Happy Gotcha Day, Ivy! Thankful the LORD got me out of my bed to do what he has called me to do. The dogs know how to bring joy to your heart. My personal dogs miss him too but their is a spark in their eyes when Mama's up and moving. They save me too!

WE NEED KITTEN FOOD! We have over 50 kittens in the shelter and foster and we are going through lots of food! More kittens are being brought in each day, and we are going through supplies very quickly.
The shelter is FULL of cats and dogs--if you cannot donate food, please consider donating your time to volunteer, share posts, or simply tell people to visit!
All food can be dropped off at our shelter or ordered through our Amazon Wishlist and delivered!!

Labradoodle females available for adoption!
(Sisters)-Ivy, Judy, and Dora- are around ~ 10 weeks old and weigh 16-18 lbs. They are super sweet and full of energy! These girls can be adopted separately and will need a fenced in yard. Puppies need to be let out often for potty breaks( every 2-3 hours). If interested you must first complete an adoption application to be considered. When NASA astronaut Leland Melvin was assigned to a space shuttle mission in 2008, he was told he could bring his family for the official photo shoot wearing the famous orange "pumpkin suit."

They didn't say two-legged or four-legged, and although dogs are not allowed on base at NASA, family is family.

So, Melvin brought his rescue dogs Jake and Scout along with a neighbor to hold them and keep hem quiet in the back of his van. "I got to the guard shack, flashed my badge, and I gunned the van and drove to the photo lab," Melvin said.

He then went up the back stairs where the photographer was waiting, went into the photo lab with 100 MilkBones to keep the dogs busy while he changed into the suit and came out.
