Not only is the Standard one of the most beautiful breeds, they are often called the smartest dog in the world. As the owner of three, I can say that their intelligence does spoil you! They are so easy to train! The Standard Poodle is a very majestic, loving and willing-to-please type of dog. They have a kind and gentle nature and a strong loyalty to the ones they love. They are the perfect pet fo

r people who are allergic to dogs. They are classified as hypoallergenic. This is because they do not have fur. They have hair which grows and has to be cut. Grooming the Standard is an essential part of ownership. If not groomed on a routine basis, their hair will just continue growing and they can get matted, so when considering the standard -- consider the grooming as well. Standards typically do not have many of the hip and leg problems that other large breeds have developed. They tend to live long healthy lives. Many do not know that the Standard is actually a gun dog. They are hunters and many Standards are still used to this day for that purpose. For those who use the Standards for hunting, they will tell you that without a doubt, they are one of the smartest and best hunting dogs around! Standards also have webbed feet because they are natural born swimmers. Standards love to run, hunt, swim and generally just play hard! I have both AKC and CKC registered standards. The prices vary in range based upon the kennel club, the breeding rights, the color and the s*x.

I'll be having a poodle puppy visiting day this upcoming Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 1 to 3:30 pm. The pups and their parents and I are all looking forward to seeing you! I'll have face and feet done in time for the visit!
