Such a great day showing at McDonogh that you barely noticed the cold!

Kayla and Finn (Grand Finale) get better every day and their hard work shined through with great line and distances all day long! They even won the hack!

Mia and Neville (Inevitable) win/champion their division with three firsts and a second! It’s been so fun to see these two progress over the last few months! And happy to report this winner did in fact have chicken dinner tonite!

Super fun day showing at Swan Lake’s Holiday Blast!

Inevitable and Mia were Reserve in the Low Children’s and won two of their jumping classes!

Kayla and Grand Finale had a great first experience at Swan and won one of their jumping classes and earned a 2nd in a very large US class!

Grace and Chocolatta also came home with great ribbons including two 2nds in their jumping classes!

Thank you to Gianna Egan for making our boys look their best with their festive braids!

Lots of laughs for the day and I truly enjoyed coaching these young ladies on this chilly December day!

Now to sleep! 🥱

Great day taking Inevitable and Chocolatta and some of our students to the Archie Cox iii clinic at Wyndsor Farm! Lots of practice using and learning the 5 different rein aids.

Unfortunately we had to cut the clinic short due to the weather and head home. Hopefully Kayla can catch the next one and get Finn out there too!

🎅 17.1 tb gelding currently doing 2’-2’3 and capable of more. Lots of show miles. On Farm only. VERY AFFORDABLE lease.

🎄 15.2 warmblood gelding with miles in the pre/childrens. Looking for his next kid to teach. Will be happy to pack around an adult, too. Push ride. Low low 5s to lease

⛄️ 11.2 pony mare. Great w/t pony who has taught tons of Littles how to ride. VERY AFFORDABLE on farm lease. Half lease option avail, too.

❄️ 14.2 large pony gelding. Jack of all trades and excellent pony to take on the trails. Free on farm care lease due to requiring some maintenance. Half lease option avail

I had to ride some training horses late into the evening today and got the chance to sit in on some lessons with a different perspective than my usual one. I got to be the proverbial mouse on the wall and it made my heart swell.

I got to see young girls learn to be strong and realize they can do hard things. I got to see adults finally give themselves a chance at their childhood dreams, even if it is decades late. I got to see many of the students cheer each other on and congratulate each other on their accomplishments of a good jump line or nice release over a jump. I got to see braveness tonite from an adult who climbed back into the saddle after a particularly rough fall from a few months back.

Yes we are all there to ride and care for our four legged friends but so much more happens “at the barn” than just that. It’s a magical atmosphere where, sometimes, all things seem right in the world. ❤️
