Spiritual Journey or Human Experience?

Ever wondered if you're on a spiritual path or just living life? There's a simple answer, but the complexity lies in understanding why and how we each experience it differently. 🤔

My journey began in 1996 when I discovered my chosen Spiritual name, Serah, was actually my family name scrambled up.

Here's how it happened:
• Midnight awakening with a newfound understanding
• A decades-long fascination with the spiritual side of everything

It's not about fearing God but fearing not knowing Him or being unknown to Him

For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.....

I have been slipping in these areas lately, especially self-control, so I will be working hard on those areas and try hard to ignore that which is hurtful to the Soul and look for that which is calming. For those of you who Pray, please add me to your Prayers as I struggle with the war within and the wars around us... 🙏🙏🙏

Many years ago, I was in hospital, weighing 48kgs. Some thought I had anorexia, but quite frankly, I had no time to eat. We only had encyclopedias back then, and I was trying to work out how such evil can exist in this world, as it does. That was due to Richard Kelvin, our newsreaders' son, and Bevan Spencer Von Einem, whose mother lived around the corner from us.

Cutting a bit of a story short, after a couple of weeks in hospital, I was told I care too much and need to toughen up. I disagreed, and thought it was up to others to have empathy and compassion. All of these wars and killing are getting to me again, and perhaps those who laughed at my reasoning, might consider if I was so distraught at the death and torture of one young man, hundreds of thousands are haunting.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.......

Let us Pray that God sees the Noah's of the world, and that there is indeed grace enough to ease some of the grief that God must be feeling, day in and day out, night in and night out. 🙏🙏🙏

There are several Books of Life, and our journey on Earth will lead us in the direction we that have earned and deserved. When your journey as a Spirit enjoying a Human experience has come to an end, like the caterpillar or the water bug, be ready for the journey you have chosen.

Is that too much to ask for? To care for each other? And to be humble? Me thinks not. Let us strive to be humble and to grow our faith, and our empathy. Let us learn how to care. 🥰

As Jeremiah the prophet stated in Lamentations 3:51 "Mine eye affected mine heart because of all the daughters of my city."
