Welcome to the Bar None Morgan Ranch website. The Bar None Ranch is owned by Harvey and Lois Seidel. We are located in North West Wyoming about 100 miles from both Casper and Cody in the town of Thermopolis, Wyoming, in the Big Horn Basin. We specialize in colorful Morgan Horses, with western working bloodlines from the LU Sheep Ranch, Ramul Dvarshkis, and Cross Ranch, all of Wyoming. Almost every

one has read the book "Justin Morgan Had a Horse" and was thrilled with the story of the horse "Figure" that became the foundation of the Morgan Breed. Morgans come in many colors, including palomino, buckskin, dun, black, bay, chestnut, and even "white" (cremello, perlino and smoky cream). Chingadero, the grandsire of our former stallion Pierre Noire, was smoky cream. Our present stallion, Truwest Silver Suede, is a greatgrandson of Chingadero, and is a Grulla Dun. The American Morgan Horse Association is the official organization that promotes the Morgan Horse. We offer horses for sale, stallion service, training and boarding as well as just good information. On our site you can read articles about Chingadero, the Bar None Brand, as well as learn about our specific interests. We live in the beautiful Wind River Canyon area. When you come to visit us you will see an 18 mile long canyon that is cut right through the mountains, allowing traffic from north to south. We live just one mile north of the mouth of the Canyon. Our address is 355 Bar None Drive. The sign for Bar None Drive is right on Highway 20 South, three and half miles south of the town of Thermopolis. Come by anytime and visit us. You will enjoy the wonderful view of the red bluffs. We have complete facilities with boarding, training, breeding and just about anything you could want from a horse facility. We are proud to be able to introduce you to our Morgan Horses. Thank you for visiting our site. We hope you will find it interesting and helpful.

Occasionally we get to brag about one of our foals that someone sends a picture. Ron Wilson in Fairfield, Mt bought a c**t from us sired by Truwest Silver Suede out of Bar Non Princess. This c**t is now a breeding stallion for Ron and looks pretty darn good!

Yesterday afternoon my good friend from Germany, Ralph Schmeidel visited me. Over the years he has bought and shipped to Germany a stallion and several mares. I have not seen him for several years. Oh how good to renew friendship. Cost to ship horses overseas has become prohibative.

Lois Seidel went home to heaven this morning at 11:15. She fought a big battle with dementia and while we think she lost, she won and is now remembering everything. Heaven is our hope and certainly was her hope for all her life. She came to know Christ as her Saviour in 3rd grade and has been a faithful follower of him. She was married to me for 61 years, 7 .months and 4 days. What a wonderful wife and helpmate she has been.
Together we have had a wonderful journey an now she is enjoying fellowship with her spiritual family of many who have gone on before. The bible teaches to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and she is seeing the reality of that truth. Thank you to all who have prayed for her us and have made some wonderful comments of memory. We will have a grave side service on Tuesday and a memorial service this Friday the 19th at First Baptist here in Thermopolis. Please pray for the service to be an honor to our Saviour. Lois had a love for people and her memory will be best seen in our contining walk with Jesus.

Dec 7th was “slightly” remembered this week, but we are witnessing past lessons LOST as some of the most ludicrous marches and gatherings in the US, calling for “peace” and “no response” to the most evil outrage against innocents in recent decades,

Imagine December 8th, 1941. After years of “ceasefire” (since 1918 after the carnage of a world war), American citizens saw our friends attacked across Europe by N**i troops and now could not ignore the horrific warmongering and expansion of Imperial Japa in Korea, Manchuria, and China, as attacks came to US. They had broken the 20-year ceasefire and had maliciously and deliberately attacked America. They had not aimed at unarmed citizens at a dance or peacefully at home, but their action and intent at Pearl Harbor was clear.

America knew that to deliver our people from such further aggression and attack on Long Beach or San Francisco, we needed to DESTROY the enemy that carried out this atrocity and save us from further wanton murder. What did America do? It was a planned total devastation of the enemy, where they lived, where they hid, where they planned and then delivered their deadly attacks.

We sent bombers not just to bomb enemy troops or ships, but to obliterate their arsenals of weapons, cities, factories, defenses. Bombers crushing an enemy people. My father and father-in-law served in the Army Air Corps, both training crews and rescue boats. Dad went to the Philippines to bring the battle to the enemy. My mother and my aunts worked tirelessly at the Arsenal near our home in Minneapolis to produce bombs or belt machine-gun bullets for our fighters to attack.

When Jimmy Doolittle led a small raid only 30-seconds over Tokyo, the people rejoiced. Reaction of bombing Berlin, Tokyo, Hamburg, or Naples meant loss of innocent civilians for sure, but the price of destruction of the enemy’s ability to continue their atrocities was being paid.

Fast forward to today. As recent as October 6th there was a robust and enduring ceasefire in Gaza. Hamas used that time to stockpile weapons for more attacks on civilians and build tunnels under hospitals, schools, and mosques to use as shields from retaliatory defensive acts by Israel. At their own timetable, Hamas brought that ceasefire to a monstrous end, cowardly butchering, ra**ng, and murder of civilian women, men, boys, girls, and even infants.

Just like our response to Japan 82 years ago, two months ago Hamas opened hostilities on the innocents. Now, it falls on Israel to end them, by destroying Hamas’s ability to contemplate or deliver any similar attack in the future. Carrying out that task is inevitably an enterprise of horrifying violence and all hate to see more death. But it happened to the civilians in Germany, Italy, and Japan because of what their leaders started. It is happening again so that the horrifying and vile actions cannot be repeated.
