These are a few of the many animals I have rescued and supported. I have helped 100's of animals find good homes when it's possible to re-home them. Some animals have been so badly abused and neglected that re-homing is not an option, and I keep them until the end of their lives. Some people don't understand how cruel humans can be to critters until they've seen it up close and personal as I have.
The first time, I was in shock that someone would do something so horrific to such a nice dog. Then I began to expect problems when I started pulling animals from a New Jersey dog pound in a slummy city. Now as adults, we all know it takes many things, some of them are dedication, understanding, patience, unconditional love, money and more patience. I moved from New Jersey in 2004 to rural Pennsylvania and named the small farm Windy Pine Ridge Animal Sanctuary.
