Effectively managing meltdowns, panic attacks, and stress-induced noncompliance requires a deliberate and calm approach.

Here’s how it works: the stress-inducing stimulus must persist until the dog realizes that panicking won’t resolve the situation. Only then can they begin to find a sense of stability. While these primal instincts are hardwired into their DNA, you can reshape their emotional responses. Sometimes, it’s as simple as NePo without a second Po.
