Ingredients:

3 1/2 pounds beef (90% lean)
8 ounces beef heart
5 ounces beef liver
20 ounces chicken gizzards
3 cans sardines in water, minus the juice
6 ounces mussels (3 teaspoons kelp could replace the mussels for trace minerals)
2 teaspoons ground fresh ginger
5 eggs with shell
3 ounces red bell pepper
5 ounces mixed dark leafy greens (kale, chard, spinach)
4 ounces broccoli
6 ounces butternut squash
3 tablespoons flax seed oil
4 ounces cranberries
4 ounces Shiitake mushrooms
Instructions:

Grind and mix all ingredients together.
Pour into loaf, casserole, or muffin pans.
Bake at 325 for 30 to 60 minutes depending on size of pan; should be lightly done, not overcooked (juicy in the center). If your pet has a beef or chicken allergy, turkey can be substituted.
Use within 3-5 days, freeze extra portions.
Feed warmed to room temperature.

Dog treats: 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/3 coconut oil, 1/2 water, shredded carrots, blueberries, 1 egg, 1/2 banana. mix well bake for 15 mins or until done depending on size you make.🐾🤪

I prefer homemade dog food because I know what's going in it. But if you need to buy dog food I recommend you always start your search for any dog food with the product label.
That's because...
The label is the ONLY part of a dog food package that's actually regulated by Federal law.

The rest of the package is loaded with words and images designed to do one thing... sell the product.
Unfortunately…
If you don't take time to read the label, you could end up choosing a dog food that contains BHA or one of several cancer-causing preservatives.
Or one that contains generic animal fat… which has a long history of containing deadly drugs associated with meat from euthanized cattle.
Or a recipe that uses ingredient splitting… to trick you into believing there's more meat in a recipe than there really is!

Some claim no dog food should ever be judged by its label.
But think about that.🤔
How can any food be magically better than the ingredients that were used to make it?
Which is why I urge you to either make your own or base all of your dog food purchases on facts. Not on rumors, pretty packages or marketing hype.

Begin every search with the label.
