Hi, my name is Dingwall, and I’m looking for my forever family! I’m a handsome 2-year and 5-month-old male Golden Retriever mix with a beautiful tan and chocolate coat. I’ve been at the shelter since July 25, 2024, and I’m ready to find a loving home.

Here’s a bit about me:
- Potty and leash trained– I’ve got good manners!
- Great with kids– I’m gentle and would make a fantastic family dog.
- Dog-friendly– I do well with calm to mid-energy dogs, so I’d be a great companion if you already have a pup.

Major is a fun-loving, high-energy Husky who’s ready to find his forever home! He’s potty trained, walks well on a leash, and is one of the most talkative pups you’ll meet. Major would thrive in a house environment where he can explore and play to his heart’s content. He’s curious, adventurous, and would make an excellent hiking or running companion.

Meet Rose from Second Chance Rescue Group ! Rose is a 6 month old Whippet mix. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for snuggles! This baby girl is so adorable that she will make you melt (I mean look at those ears!!). She's a friendly, funny, and goofy dog. 🚨 Breakdancer in Training Needs a Home!🚨

Meet Miko, the 5-year-old domestic kitty who's convinced he's the next big thing in the world of breakdancing. 🕺✨ Sure, he might spend more time spinning in circles than actually on his paws, but don't tell him that—he's working on his moves!

Miko will impress you with his "cat wheel" (which looks a lot like chasing his tail) and his signature move, the "paw slide" (basically scooting across the floor after a toy). When he's not busy perfecting his routines, Miko loves to cuddle up for a good nap, dreaming of his future dance-off victories.

This guy has personality, pizzazz, and plenty of heart. If you're ready to adopt a kitty with rhythm (sort of), Miko is waiting to bust a move into your heart and home. 💃🐾

We can't understand why Duke hasn't found his forever family yet. This sweet senior dog has been with us for over 30 days, and every day we're more amazed by his gentle spirit. Duke is about 10 years old, and he has the most soulful eyes that tell a story of love, patience, and unwavering loyalty.

Duke may be in his golden years, but he still has so much love to give. He's a calm, steady companion who enjoys leisurely walks and quiet moments by your side. There's something truly special about him—his presence brings a sense of peace and comfort that's hard to put into words.

Congratulations to Dune and his new family!
Dune waited patiently while his friends at Hickory Creek Animal Shelter worked very hard to showcase his story and help him find a home! Thanks to many volunteers and staff members that took the time to really get to know him, he was adopted into an incredible family today!
