📸 They say a picture is worth a thousand words—and in Titu’s case, we couldn’t agree more. One look into his beautiful, soulful brown eyes and you’ll hear him ask, “Where is my forever home?” 💔

Location: Long Island, NY can be transported locally

Titu’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience. For 5 of his 6 years, he was banished to live outside because he was “too big for indoors.” When his owners decided to move, they planned to put him down simply because he was inconvenient. Then came another failed placement—with someone who never disclosed serious health issues and couldn’t properly care for him.

But through it all, Titu has held on.

Thanks to an incredible foster who stepped up, Titu is finally safe and loved. And he loves his foster right back. Sadly, his foster’s schedule doesn’t allow him to be home enough, and in a completely selfless act, he wants better for Titu—a home where he’ll get the time, attention, and affection he’s waited a lifetime for. 🐾

Titu is:
🧸 6 years old, 120 lbs of pure teddy bear
❤️ A true Velcro dog who bonds deeply
🏡 Housebroken, crate trained, and low maintenance
🐕‍🦺 Great on a leash, loves walks and snuggling
👶 Recommended for homes with older kids due to his size
🐱🐶 Not tested with cats or dogs—best as the only pet
🤝 A little shy at first, but offer him food and you’re instantly his best friend!

If you’re a single person, a couple, or a family with older children, and you can give this sweet soul a soft place to land, we’d love to arrange a meet and greet (especially if you’re local to Long Island—our trainer will assist).

Please help us give Titu the Rottweiler the happy ending he so deserves. His past may be heavy, but his heart is light, and he’s ready to fill your home with unconditional love. 🐾

💔 WE DESPERATELY NEED DONATIONS TO KEEP FIGHTING FOR LANE — AND OTHERS LIKE HER. Her life matters, and we can’t do this without you. 🙏

🚨 LANE UPDATE – Hospitalized for Final Heartworm Injections 💔

Sweet Lane is currently hospitalized to complete the most critical part of her heartworm treatment — her second and third Immiticide injections. She received her first injection yesterday and will be getting her final one today.

❤️‍🩹 While hospitalization during heartworm treatment isn’t typically required, Lane isn’t your typical case. Due to her underlying heart condition and complex medical history, she must be monitored 24/7 during this phase to ensure her heart and lungs remain stable.

From giving birth in a pile of garbage… to ending up in a cold, dark kill shelter with her puppies… Lane’s story is heartbreaking — but it’s also one of resilience. Against all odds, she has come such a long way. From emergency hospitalization and cardiology care to now entering the final leg of her heartworm treatment, her strength is nothing short of inspiring.

We never give up on the dogs in our care, and Lane is proof of why.

🏥 Her medical expenses have now exceeded $18,000, and we are still in urgent need of donations to help cover Lane’s care as well as the many other critical medical cases we’ve taken on. Our intake remains closed until we can catch up on the overwhelming vet bills.

💙 Huge thanks to her incredible foster mom and family, who welcomed Lane into their hearts and home, and to her foster doggy siblings who embraced her as one of their own. Their commitment and love have made all the difference in Lane’s journey.

➡️ Please help us continue to fight for Lane and others like her. Every donation counts:

💸 Zelle: [email protected]
💸 PayPal: [email protected]

Together, we can get Lane through this and give her the healthy, happy life she’s fought so hard for.

Thank you for being part of her journey. 🐾💙

🆘 PLEASE HELP - FOSTER NEEDS TO LEAVE BY FRIDAY HER SITUATION IS NOW DIRE!!!!!

💔 URGENT: Wilbur Needs a New Foster — Or Better Yet, a Forever Home 💔

📍Located in Alabama — transport available to many states!

We’re heartbroken to share that Wilbur’s amazing foster, who quite literally saved his life, is now facing a personal emergency and can no longer continue fostering him. As devastated as she is, this is a situation beyond her control — and now, we need your help more than ever.

Wilbur has come so far. Just weeks ago, he was on the brink of euthanasia in a high-kill shelter in Alabama. Thanks to the love and dedication of his foster, he’s blossomed into the happy, affectionate, and well-adjusted boy we always knew he could be. 🐾

Now, this sweet soul needs someone new to step up — sooner rather than later. While we would love nothing more than to find him a forever home, a new foster is urgently needed to keep him safe and cared for.

🧡 About Wilbur:
• 5–6 years old
• 64 lbs of love and loyalty
• Sweet, playful, and a total couch potato
• Housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained
• LOVES car rides and being with his people
• Great with kids — he absolutely adores them
• Good with older, calm dogs (he likes to be the boss)
🚫 Not cat tested, so no kitties for Wilbur

This incredible boy has already been through so much. Let’s not let him down now.

If you can foster or are open to foster-to-adopt or adoption, please complete an application today and help us keep Wilbur’s journey moving forward — not backward.

🚨 URGENT – TIME IS RUNNING OUT 🐾
These sweet outdoor cats are about to lose the only home they’ve ever known…

We were contacted with an urgent plea to help a group of outdoor cats who are at risk of being abandoned. Their loving caregiver is moving out of state by the end of this month and is desperate to find safe homes for the remaining five cats. These are not feral cats—they are friendly, spayed/neutered, and used to human companionship. They’ve known warmth, love, and care their whole lives. 💔

These cats were originally born next door and had a good life with the neighbor who owned the property. When that neighbor moved away and sold the house, their current caretaker—compassionate and kind—took over feeding and sheltering them, turning flower pots into safe spaces and giving them daily love.

She’s already found homes for a few of the cats, but five still need help—and time is quickly running out.

Sadly, their current situation is deteriorating. The landlord dislikes cats and has reportedly chased them into the streets and trapped at least one—an older, blind cat named Stevie who has since disappeared!! The rest are now in danger.

🖤 Meet the Cats Needing Homes:

Lady TT (10 yrs old, spayed) – Sweet, loves to be brushed, best as an only pet.

Tam Tam (8 yrs old, unspayed) – Affectionate, loves human attention.

Bobby (5 yrs old, neutered) – Formerly injured, now thriving, garden buddy and playful soul.

Scruffy (5 yrs old, spayed) – Friendly, bonded with Bobby, black and white beauty.

DD (5 yrs old, spayed) – Gray and white, very sweet, loves affection.

These cats are gentle, loving, and deserving of safe, indoor homes or committed foster placements where they can continue to thrive.

📍Located in the NY area – transport available for the right homes.
🙏 We need fosters, adopters, or rescue partners to step up NOW. Please don’t let them be left behind.

💌 If you can help, email [email protected] or message our page Road to Home Rescue Support

Please share widely. Their lives depend on it.

🚨 STILL NO INQUIRIES FOR MIKE – NOT ONE. 💔
We’re drowning — and we cannot save another dog until the ones already in our care are placed.

We had one potential lead for Mike… but even after we processed their application immediately, they adopted a different dog. That’s it. Not one other inquiry.

Meanwhile, Mike (formerly Spots) has been in the same foster home for 4 months. From day one, we made it clear: photos and videos are essential — they’re what help dogs get adopted. Despite repeated reminders, we’ve received barely anything.

Now, out of nowhere, the foster has taken in a dog from a different rescue and told us she can’t manage three. So Mike is being pushed aside — and we’re scrambling to find a new place for him.

We’re exhausted. Every day we’re asked to help more dogs in urgent need — dogs on the euthanasia list, dogs abandoned or injured — but we can’t say yes. Not when we’re struggling to move the ones already safe.

Mike deserves more than being forgotten.

🐾 1.5 years old, ~50 lbs
🐾 Rescued from a high-kill shelter in Alabama
✅ Dog-friendly
✅ Loves kids — gentle and affectionate
✅ Walks beautifully on leash
✅ Knows “sit” and learning more
✅ Shy at first, but warms up fast

📍 Troy, NY – Transport available to nearby states

If you’ve ever thought about fostering — now is the time.
We cannot keep doing this without real help. The reality is simple:
Until dogs like Mike get into committed foster or adoptive homes, we cannot save anyone else.

Please — step up for Mike. Help us turn things around.

💔 ZEUS IS STILL IN BOARDING — AND HE’S FALLING APART 💔

📍 Middle Island, NY
It’s been a week since Zeus was left at the kennel. No goodbye. No comfort. No explanation.

He lost everything he knew — his home, his routine, his family. And now he waits behind a gate, wondering what he did wrong.

The owner of the kennel told us he is one of the sweetest dogs they’ve had. Not just well-behaved — truly gentle, loving, and calm.

We also had one of the professional trainers we work with visit to assess him, and Chris said exactly what we already knew in our hearts:
“This is one of the sweetest pitties I’ve ever met.”

💔 Zeus did nothing wrong — and he’s paying the price for being failed.

A few months ago, his adopters brought two cats into the home without testing for compatibility. It ended in tragedy, and instead of seeking help or accountability, Zeus was isolated, crated, and eventually discarded.

He lived peacefully with his doggy best friend, who remained in the home.
💔 Zeus lost not just his family — but his best friend too.

One of our volunteers visited him yesterday just to spend time with him.
He was so excited to see someone — anyone — who came just for him. And when she left, she heard him crying behind the gate.

He is grieving. And this is not a place where he can heal.
🧡 Zeus is:
• 3–4 years old, 75 lbs
• Housebroken & crate trained
• Great with children
• Lived with another dog (meet & greet always a must)
• Walks beautifully on leash & knows basic commands
🚫 Not good with cats

He’s affectionate, loyal, and would give his whole heart to someone willing to show him he still matters.

Please — if you can foster Zeus, even short term — help us get him out of this kennel.
He doesn’t deserve to spend one more day alone.

🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP – FOSTERS, ADOPTERS & DONATIONS DESPERATELY NEEDED 🚨

Our doors remain closed to new intakes—not because we want to say no, but because we simply can’t say yes without more support.

We’re at a breaking point:
💔 Overflowing with dogs already in our care
💔 Vet bills piling up
💔 Turning away animals in urgent need

Every day, we get heartbreaking pleas:
🐾 Seniors dumped at shelters
🐾 Medical cases no one else will take
🐾 Dogs on the euthanasia list with no one to step up

We want to help them. We can’t do it without you.

✅ We provide full medical care—and food if needed—for our fosters
✅ We match adopters with the right dog for their home
✅ We rely on donations to give the dogs already with us the care they need

You can make the difference. Be the reason we say YES instead of we can’t.

🚨 URGENT – DUTCHESS NEEDS A NEW PLACE TO LAND NOW! 🚨

📍 Currently on Long Island, NY

💖 Beautiful, Sensitive, and Searching for Peace 💖

Meet Dutchess – a stunning 3-year-old, 60-pound girl who’s been deeply loved, but now needs a different environment to thrive.

Adopted over a year ago by a family who also gave our girl Macy a forever home, Dutchess has received nothing but love and commitment. But sometimes love isn’t enough when the home simply isn’t the right fit.

Dutchess has always struggled with anxiety, and life in a busy household with two young children has become too overwhelming for her. While she shares her space with a dog sibling, their strong personalities have led to some tension. She also lives with two cats—she does wonderfully with the calm one, showing she can co-exist with feline friends in the right environment.

Her incredible trainer, Nukki, has worked closely with her and sees so much potential for Dutchess in a calmer, structured home. Recently, Nukki noticed something physically off with her back leg—and just this week, Dutchess had full bloodwork and x-rays that revealed an issue with one of her hind legs, which is likely contributing to her behavior. An orthopedic consult is in the works to determine next steps—and if surgery is needed, it will be taken care of.

Her current family is also donating five training sessions to support her transition. They’ve gone above and beyond—but they now recognize that Dutchess needs a more peaceful space where she can truly decompress and heal, both physically and emotionally.

✅ Spayed
✅ Heartworm-free
✅ Training included
✅ Transport available (NY/NJ/CT)

Dutchess needs:
🏡 A calm home
❌ No young kids
🐾 Either a compatible dog/cat or solo pet life
🐕 Someone experienced and patient

Dutchess is not a broken dog—she’s a sensitive soul searching for a soft place to land. Can you give her that safe haven?

🇺🇸 Keep Your Pets Safe This 4th of July! 🎆🐾

While we enjoy the fireworks, BBQs, and celebrations—remember, the 4th of July can be terrifying for our furry friends. 🐶🐱

Here are a few tips to keep them safe and calm tonight:

🔒 Keep Them Indoors – Even if they’re usually fine outside, fireworks can cause panic and lead to escapes.
🎧 Turn on the TV or Play Calming Music – Drown out the noise with familiar sounds.
🆔 Double-Check Tags and Microchips – Just in case they bolt, make sure your contact info is up to date.
🛏️ Create a Safe Space – A cozy room, their favorite bed, or even a crate can help them feel secure.
🚫 No Table Scraps – BBQ food can upset their stomach or be dangerous.

❤️ While you’re keeping your own pets safe, please take a moment to think of those who don’t have a home tonight. So many are sitting in shelters, scared and alone, especially during fireworks.

Fostering or adopting saves lives.
By opening your heart and home, you’re giving a pet the safety and love they deserve—not just today, but for a lifetime.

🚨 WE NEED FOSTERS, ADOPTERS & DONATIONS – OR WE CAN’T KEEP SAVING LIVES 🚨

Our intake is STILL CLOSED—not because the need has stopped, but because we don’t have enough fosters, adopters, or funding to keep saying yes.

We’re at capacity.
Our vet bills are overwhelming.
And we are turning away animals—not because we want to, but because we simply can’t take on more without help.

💔 Seniors abandoned
💔 Medical cases with no one to treat them
💔 Dogs at risk of euthanasia, just waiting for a chance

We can’t help them unless you help us.

✅ We provide all medical care—and food if needed—for our fosters
✅ We’re looking for adopters ready to give a forever home
✅ We urgently need donations to care for those already in rescue

Be the reason we can say YES again.

Another Urgent Situation!! Safe Landing Needed Now!! 👑 Meet Dutchess – A Stunning 3-Year-Old, 60 pound, Girl Looking for the Right Fit 🐾

Dutchess was adopted over a year ago by a wonderful family who had previously adopted our girl Macy. They’ve remained committed and loving throughout her journey, doing everything they can to help her thrive.

But sometimes, even with all the love in the world, the environment just isn’t the right match. Dutchess has always been an anxious girl, and the hustle and bustle of a busy home with two young children has only heightened that anxiety. She shares her space with a beloved doggie sibling, but with two dominant personalities in one home, it’s not always smooth sailing. She also lives with two cats and does great with the more laid-back one—so she can live with feline friends in the right setting.

Her family has been working with an amazing trainer, Nukki, who believes Dutchess can thrive in a calmer, more structured environment. During training sessions, Nikki noticed that something seemed off with Dutchess’s back end. Just earlier this week, Dutchess underwent full blood work and x-rays, which confirmed there is an issue with one of her hind legs—something likely contributing to her behavioral escalation in the home. An orthopedic appointment is being scheduled to determine if surgery is needed, and if so, this will be fully addressed.

While this medical discovery helps explain part of her struggle, Dutchess still needs a quieter, more peaceful home where she can decompress and heal—both physically and emotionally.

Her current family is generously donating five additional training sessions to help support her transition. They have truly gone above and beyond, but with young children in the home and a constant flow of people coming and going, they are no longer able to provide the environment Dutchess needs.

💉 Dutchess is also officially heartworm-free, having completed her treatment and has recently been spayed.

She would do best in a calm home with an experienced person, without young children, and ideally with either a well-matched dog/cat companion or as the only pet. Dutchess is not broken—just a sensitive, beautiful soul who needs a place where she can feel safe and finally exhale.
