Your dog will get to choose from hanging out in the house with our family ( people and dogs) or romping or relaxing outside in one of our fenced yards. n Agility. I have 34+ (adult) years experience caring for animals (horse, dogs, cats and assorted creatures). In my life I have worked for vets, run horse farms for other people and currently run my own farm. Outdoor time: I have 3 fenced dog yards connected to our house. Our fencing is strong and secure. Dogs can ask to go outside during the day or evening for as long or as little of time as they choose. One yard is reserved for small or older/feeble dogs. The other two dog yards are about 1/3 of an acre each. Very active playful doggie guests can romp with two of my dogs in one of these yards, enjoy time with my old fella, or hang out all by themselves. I have many options. I can walk dogs on a leash on my 17 acre farm or down our quiet country road. I also have a half acre fenced agility training area. Dogs are never left outside on the occasion that all the humans are off the farm. Doggie guests and our horses never meet! Indoor time: Basically my dogs like to be wherever I am at. Indoors or out, they follow me everywhere—yes, even the bathroom (they stand right outside the door). If I watch TV they are there. If I’m cooking they are more than there. If I’m cleaning they stand and stare until I settle down. You dog can join our dogs routine or be kept separate in our house. At night I prefer to crate doggie guests but am willing to make exceptions. I also offer an indoor cat area that is away from the dogs. It is better for your pets if they come with the food that their tummies are used to. Our home is flea free and we appreciate it if our guests are on flea treatment. If your pet/s need to get to a vet or emergency vet center, I will take the pet as long as arrangements for payment has been established between pet owner and the vet/business.
