The sacrifices of long term breeding are enormous and the work that goes into it must be supported by uncompromisingly high values. The reward is a breed that is true to its heritage an
d only strengthens as time progresses. Carol's dedication and very prominent ideals enable her to make great advances with the breed. She is a part of a cooperative global effort to advance the best quality of dogs in the Newfoundland breed. This group is among the most highly respected and internationally renowned breeders in the sport. Carol's passion and love for the breed has enabled her to produce Newfoundlands that have risen to the top of the dog world. The dogs that come from Darbydale Kennel go on to win many awards, including Best of Breed, Group placements, Best in Show, Best of Winners, US and Canadian championships, Championships internationally and many National and Regional Specialty placements and winners.
