l military card holders interested in adding one of our Bullies puppies as a Family member to their home. (discount only applies to puppies going to Pet homes only- discounts can not be combined)

Breeding Bulldogs is not a fad or a job/source of income for us. Breeding Bulldogs is a continuation of a Passion and belief for over 40 years, by my father, that if you breed knowledgeably and ethically, putting in your research and your heart, that you can breed to the Standard and have Healthy dogs that can breathe, play and live long healthy lives. This has been my own passion as I have literally been involved by loving, breeding, showing and educating about the breed in one way or another most of my life! (Melissa Rohde)

I have received many messages from people interested in our babies and asking to come over and take a look before they choose... Or....Vacationers simply just wanting to come "play" with them while visiting the area with no real interest of owning...

So, I feel I need to clarify......

We are NOT a Kennel, a Pet Store or a Back Yard Breeder! We are a family that loves and owns Bulldogs and RESPONSIBLY Breeds from time to time. Our dogs live IN our home, WITH us, AS family. Our home is NOT open to the public as I assume is the norm for anyone's home. We do not show our dogs at just any ole time because we may have puppies. We are a home... Not a store! We don't "show" our babies until they are 8 weeks old and their first vaccination has had time to begin protecting. Normally, all babies are have been reserved by their new families by 4 weeks old... We show only by appointment to approved families! We post our puppies on our page as they grow. Once they reach about 3 or 4 weeks old we will offer them as available TO PRE-APPROVED Families. We do prescreen potential owners in hopes of placing our babies in their forever homes. We take ownership, breeding and placing our babies VERY seriously! For those interested in one of our babies you can message us with your email address and we will send you our Potential Owners Questionnaire to get started in the process....

I usually do not let my babies go until they are at least 9 weeks old and current on vaccinations. I can not stress enough how vulnerable their immune system is before all vaccinations have been given! Bulldogs are easily susceptible to pick up anything as they really are babies longer. What makes it hard is that families are so excited, such as you are now, and they can not wait to get them home and show them off. This is the biggest no-no until they have had ALL their vaccinations at 16 weeks old. It's just not worth the risk for "Gramma", "Auntie Kim" or "co-worker Jo Blow". to come take a peek at your adorable new baby and walk Parvo, distemper or heaven knows what other disease or parasite into your home unknowingly on their shoes where the new love of your life runs ramped... They should not be taken to a Pet store, Pet park or anywhere in public until then either. I do not even allow mine to touch the floor or exam tables at the Vets office before having ALL vaccinations! I may seem overly cautious but it's just not worth the risk to me! I have seen this happen!!! Too many puppies have contracted deadly diseases by owners being not cautious enough and having their babies die and their whole world turned upside down by something so seemingly innocent that could have been avoided all together by being cautious and patient for just a few weeks...

As you can tell I am very passionate about it all... These are MY babies that I entrust to others and I want only the best, happiest & safest life for them....
