Waipa District Council’s animal control team respond to calls about dog and stock control issues, and they manage two dog pounds (Te Awamutu and Cambridge) to keep lost dogs safe and cared for until they can be reunited with their owners. Our day team is available 8am to 5pm week days, and we have contractors managing urgent after-hours issues.
