If you remember Dylan DiPoochy, thank you. Dylan was a quirky, beautiful, smart, and sometimes really annoying Cavalier. He was my boy, and we lost him in early August 2022, at age 13. Lymphoma. No heart murmur! He was alert, stoic, (mostly) eating, a little shaky-legged, and still so beautiful; we had little warning of this, and we missed him terribly. Howard and I were "dogless" for 3 months, when Cavalier Rescue USA blessed us a little Blenheim lady named Bella. Bella was 12 when we adopted her in October 2022, and Rescue let us know that Bella has a Stage 5 murmur, and a few other issues, but Howard and I have been down this road before, and we knew we were meant to give Bella the best time of her life. We hope we are doing just that; Bella is still with us, and with a bit of snuffling and side-eye, she manages to rule the roost quite benevolently. She's not a snuggler, she likes her own space, but at her age she can be whomever she wants to be; we are just there to care and watch over her. I have been off Facebook, mostly, for several years; it's even more aggravating to use than it used to be, but I promise, soon, pictures of our Bella, and her favorite hiding places. Blessings to all! -- Cass
