We are in desperate need of dog food right now and cat food. We have several litters in foster care and we are running low. All donations of food would be greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow I have to say goodbye to one of the kindest souls that I've ever had the privilege of knowing. I met Jerry seven years ago when I started cutting his hair. He loved animals and we immediately made friends. I was just starting my rescue during that time and asked him to be one of my board of directors. I'm not so sure he knew what he was getting into 🤣 He wasn't good at fostering, because he couldn't let them go. He once fostered a pregnant dalmation and all of her babies were born at his house. He ended up keeping a few of them and cried when he handed the others over at transport. I can't possibly list all of the rescue missions he has helped with. And he probably replaced 100 or more cords that dogs had chewed on heaters , air conditioners , lamps, shop vacs, and fans. 🤣 He built dog beds out of pallets , a wooden ramp for my dog kennels, dog steps , and the list goes on and on. He was always supportive of my rescue efforts and was probably my biggest cheerleader. But most importantly he was my friend. He was like family to me.

On Feb 26 he text me and told me he had cancer. He was gone 7 days later. My heart is crushed ,but I find peace in knowing he didn't have to suffer. A million thank yous would never be sufficient for all he did for me. The amount of compassion he had for others (two legged and four legged) was something you don't see very often. I was blessed with a front row seat to witness it thousands of times.

I just know you are somewhere hiking on a beautiful trail in Heaven, with lots of dogs and cats following along. Chasing all the beautiful waterfalls that you could ever imagine. It was one of the greatest honors of my life to have known you. I will forever be thankful for you and I'll never forget you.......

Sweet Nolan has been making the rounds the past few days. He visited the Providence Fire Department in Rhode Island and then the Cranston Police Department. Everyone just loved him and he has the best foster mom ever! If you are in the New England area, he is STILL available for adoption. I have no idea why this handsome puppy hasn't been adopted yet. Meet NOLAN!

Nolan is a 16 week old Lab Mix and weighs 23 pounds. All of his littermates have been adopted and he hasn't even received one single application. He is gentle, affectionate, playful, and gets along great with other dogs and kids. He hasn't been around any cats. Nolan is also super smart and comical. Talon doesn't understand why all of his littermates have been adopted except for him. He is a beautiful tuxedo little boy that was born on 10/4/24. He gets along great with other cats and kids. He hasn't been around any dogs. Talon loves people, climbing his cat condo, chasing laser lights, belly rubs, and treats. He's super smart and very curious. Every dog that you rescue is special, but there's just something extra special about those first few. Ruby was the SECOND dog that I ever fostered. I saved her back in 2016 and named her after my birth stone. She couldn't have gone to a more amazing and loving family. Sherry J Campanelli and I became good friends over the years. In 2019, on one of my transport trips, I even got to spend the night at Rubies house in Rhode Island. That's us together sitting under her favorite tree in the yard.

Sweet Ruby has been fighting cancer for a while now and crossed the rainbow bridge on Sunday. This one really hurt my heart. But I'm so thankful that she got to spend her life being loved by two of the kindest human beings you could ever meet. I don't think she ever once even knew that she was a dog. Thank you both so much for adopting her and giving her all these wonderful years of happiness. Sending love and prayers to you both. I know she will be greatly missed.
