I just want to let everyone know I'm taking a little break from breeding. A few reasons for this: the market is saturated right now and people can't hardly give their dogs away. I don't want to be a part of something that is going to cause more and more animals to end up in shelters. When I first started, it wasn't that way-at least not for designer breeds or pure breeds. I feel like things need to settle down for a bit. Also, my male quit producing a while back, and while I have a wonderful friend who works with me on the stud fee, if I have a litter of one pup (it happens a lot in small dogs) I'm not even making enough to break even with the prices that people want to pay right now. I'm actually in the negative. Im also very busy working and persuing my masters degree, i just dont have time to take my dogs several times to get bred. Also, my kids are getting older and dont have as much time to help me with puppies like they did when they were younger. My dogs are my family and will continue to live here where they are family and we will love them and spoil them as always. I will miss having pups around but i am just not able to do it right now. I might look at things next spring/summer or in a year or two. Thank you! I will try to continue to post updates on our dogs, my page isn't going anywhere. And if you are looking for a pup, I do know a lot of people that are good, reputable breeders and not scammers. So feel free to reach out. ❤️
