This little fellow is Olaf,
He has returned back to us,

Sadly Olaf’s beloved mum
Has had to go into a care home,
She’s sadly been diagnosed with Dementia,

We know how much she adored & loved him,
& we are going to bring him
To visit mum in the care home,
Very soon,

We are here for our dogs
Forever, 🙏

Olaf’s Story !
Olaf was originally adopted in 2017

He was one of the little fellow’s
We headed to Belfast to bring him
To safety, in the spring of 2017,

We had been contacted by a lady
Asking please can we help the abandoned
Yard dogs, as they would be killed
Through no fault of their own, & We did, ❤️

Olaf is such a fantastic boy
Let’s find him the most amazing
Home again,
He’s fabulous with everything
Except small furries,

This evening, this was just
Now isn’t he the tiniest little guy
With the biggest personality,
He knows what he wants, 🩵

Some updates, for this evening,
we decided Larry for him,
The little distressed fellow
That was rescued last week,

He joined the rest of the crew today,
He was in isolation just as a precaution
As we were told his best friend had died,
While he was locked out in the freezing cold,

As you can see here
He is warm & safe
& he’s been so happy mixing
with his new friends,today,

He is quite timid & we are letting
Him decompress,

We sit with him reassuring
Him everything is going to be ok,
He’s clearly missing his best friend,
That sadly died,
He did stop crying & howling on day 1,
So we knew he was going to be ok,

This beautiful girl was found on a dual carriageway! 😪 she’s tiny scared & in pain 💔

We are already having a hectic busy start to this month and we have just taken a call of an abandoned JRT very scared, underweight and suspected break to back leg on a dual carriageway in wales. 😪
We will have more updates very soon.

A little late update
For the pickle’s fans

Here he is this evening,
getting ready for bed ❤️

Sometimes it’s soul destroying.
You take a call, they tell you that their dog
Is distressed & living outside
& needs to go now,
Why !
This is probably the saddest thing you’ll
Hear in a while,
His best friend has died & he is pinning,
😪 so he now has no one outside &
Still he is not brought inside the house,
Why !
Someone is allergic !

We asked please bring him in until we
Can get to him it’s freezing he may die,
Still the answer was no !

The drive down the m6
The gritters were out,
& you die a little inside knowing
He has been outside throughout
This whole winter,
His pitiful cries the whole ride back to the rescue,
Just heartbreaking 💔

We have just taken an emergency call tonight of a distressed JRT stuck outside in the freezing cold 😢 our rescuer has already left and is on their way to get him into safety. We will update as soon as we have him safe 💙

Time for a Patch update,

This was the little fellow who’s owner
Sadly died whilst walking him,
Isn’t he doing well now,

He’s a funny boy how he has claimed the kitchen
Side & well that’s ok,
He was back at the vets this week,
To reevaluate his medication &
See if it’s making a difference,

He’s only had 2 small seizures this
Month, our vets want him to stay
On the medication a little longer,

& reevaluate again mid February,

Updates for Mr Pickles
As you can see he is doing well,

He came today to mum for cuddles,
That’s the first time he’s wanted
To be close to a human that didn’t have food,
So he’s turning into a real little rascal here,

He tried to drag a 10kg bag of coal earlier double his
Weight, & Patch as usual just checking out
What’s going on, & little lulu, Martha, & dearest elderly
Winnie with her plastic chicken that she carries around
With her,

Bonnie our little blind & diabetic girl is settling in well she is very clingy to her foster mum needing lots of cuddles and reassurance ❤️

Sadly she has gum disease and will need a dental soon 🦷

Pickles is doing well he is continuing to gain weight & has started to act more like a JRT we are making progress ❤️‍🩹

His little frostbitten ears and wounds are healing good.

He adores to be around all the rescue dogs at the rescue 🐶

Updates for a freezing cold Saturday - Who remembers Patch The little boy who’s owner Sadly died whilst walking him 😢

Patch had bitten protecting his Beloved deceased owners body, he was so scared and confused.

We were his only hope,
Patch is thriving with us,
He still has his fear aggression, That is managed very well, Everything we do is on Patches terms, We think he loves it here with us now, He has come such a long way with us & we are so proud of him. ❤️‍🩹🐶

Freezing Friday updates !

Mr Pickles & Little Lulu

Here keeping warm in front of the fire
On this bitter cold Morning,

Mr Pickles is doing well
He still has quite a few health
Issues caused from the neglect
He suffered &
Almost starving to death,

Pickles although he looks
Perky & he is, he still is no way
Ready & fit enough for any vets work yet,

Both are not ready for adoption
Just Yet, Lulu Requires Spaying, &
A dental,

When they become available
We will post on here,

A little update on
The little matted girl that arrived Sunday evening,
Her matted fur had bits of sawdust &
Sharp spiky bits of straw,
That was digging into her body,
The relief she felt as the Matt’s came off,

She looks completely different
We think she’s a got a bit of Yorkie in her,
She’s such a tiny little delight,

Tonight’s rescue: very sad little urgent rescue she’s a JRT cross tiny girl lived outside her whole life 💔
She’s completely matted from head to toe so painful for her 😢
