Daisy is a former breeding Corgi from a puppy farm in Wales. Follow her adventures and new home life on the South Coast of England with her fur sisters.

My journey started when I was collected from a puppy farm in Wales by Many Tears Dog rescue. I was very poorly and had to have emergency surgery, but to the surprise of everyone I pulled through and made it onto their adoption pages as Elizabeth. Lots of people applied to give me a forever home, and while the applications were vetted I travelled from Wales to West Sussex so that I could live wit

h a nice kind foster family. 5 days after arriving I had a visit from my new owner, who came with my fur sisters to take me for a walk around a big field. Instead of going home with my foster mum, I went into the back of a new car and traveled to my forever home, where my story really starts. Read on for updates on my adventures

This precious little one was rescued on 27 th April and given that date as her Birthday. I miss you so much Daisy May - wish we could have shared our day together ###x happy Birthday over the bridge - we will always share so many bonds x 💕💝

I adopted Daisy-May the corgi on 12th May 2017, and she was named because all of the daisies were in flower, a carpet of petals everywhere and it was the month of May. Can't help but think of her when I see the daisies......which are everywhere I look at the moment.
I miss you so much sweetheart, you have no idea how heartbroken I am without you by my side.

Daisy is to be cremated today😔just as one of her Christmas gifts arrived this morning 😭
I’ve attached her new name tag to my key ring so that she’ll be close to me, but how I wish I could pop it onto her collar on Xmas day 💔

I've been so touched by your kind words and support over the past couple of days and now find myself surrounded by messages, flowers, and cards from those who loved and cared for Daisy-May as I did. She was such a beautiful little soul and was extremely brave having had such a cruel and shocking start in her precious little life, and having struggled with her reverse pda heart disease too. Had she received the basic care that she needed and deserved in her puppy years she never would have had the heart disease that went on to take her life, instead she was neglected, abused and beaten by puppy farmers, so her little body was ravaged with scars and damage from repeated cruelty over her first three or so years. It was all thanks to The Many Tears Dog Rescue that she was rescued, her life saved through emergency surgery, and I was able to adopt my sweet little Daisy-May and for that I cannot thank Vicky Charlwood enough for helping me to adopt her and become Daisy's forever Mummy. I would therefore like to urge anyone who is thinking of sending flowers, and wants to help me at this sad time to donate to the Many Tears animal Rescue as they do such tremendous work to rehome the ex breeders and the broken little ones who need to be away from the wicked abusers and placed in loving forever homes. 🌈My precious and brave Angel slipped the bounds of this earth today surrounded by love and with dignity at home. My heart is shattered into a million pieces, as she truly was the kindest , gentlest, and most ladylike of all corgis, and had become my shadow, and I will love and miss her presence by my side forevermore. I really can’t put into words how I am feeling right now, but will just post a few photos of her final day today, as my son gently carried her to the beach for one final walk. She had a lovely time and has left paw prints in the sand, and all over our hearts. Bye bye my beloveds Daisy-May, you were the sweetest, bravest, and most loyal little dog that I have ever known and I will hold my memories of you deep inside my heart and soul until my dying day when I take my last breath 💔 Be happy with Basil the Corgi, and I will meet you at the bridge - I promise that I will head straight to you little one 🐾💖
