Help us develop our International Peace Garden representing countries where Akron welcomes immigrant, including Bhutan, Nepal, Miyanmar (Burma), Syria, Afghanistan, Congo, Uzbakistan and Iraq! We need resources to keep acquiring urban lots, farm supplies and equipment, irrigation systems, farmers market training, signaage and fencing.

We are a working farm for education and training exclusively for charitable, cultural and educational purposes in Northeast Ohio. Our goals include: (a) preserving and promoting the agricultural heritage of local immigrants and refugees in our community; (b) regularly bringing online awareness programs and also publishing other literary materials at different times; and (c) developing a major urban agricultural project for economic development and education, nourishing the community with local food and empowering resettled refugee trainees in Northeast Ohio providing them with employment, education and training.
We train and empower new Americans and other alternative workers to learn and earn by participating in the local food movement. We strive to ensure that the Old World agricultural heritage ingrained in many of our members is preserved and cultivated and passed on to the next generations.
