SAYING GOODBYE!

It's time to say goodbye. It has been an incredible journey designing and creating silkscreens and embroidery for all of you. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support and trust over the years. I invite you to stock up on any patches or hats you've been considering. There's also some blank inventory of hats, beanies, headbands available, perfect for adding a patch of your choice. You can sew the patch or use glue from Beggin’ to customize your favorite gear, or enjoy the hat alone. There are still some Nose Work shirts/Dog Smell Better up here in specific sizes.

Thank you for being a part of this journey.

As I transition into retirement, I'm excited about the new opportunities that await. I look forward to spending more time in activities that bring me joy, such as K9 Nose Work®, Fetch and North American Diving Dogs with Apple, volunteering with AmericanLegion Auxiliary Unit 2008, and assisting with Honor Flight for Veterans who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. I also plan to indulge in my passion for Fly Fishing and become more involved in Church functions. Rest assured, I'll find something else to keep me busy and continue to grow. I hope this news brings a sense of optimism and anticipation for the future.

Apple received her Nose Work I & 1 place in Interior with .0689 section on April 27, 2024, in Red Leather Lake, CO.
We both stayed at Sundance Trail Guest Ranch. What a wonderful experience! It is family-owned, and Apple ran free with ranch dogs. The customer service there was impeccable, and I met new people. I will return.

AWARE: USPS Increasing Rates AGAIN.

This coming Sunday (January 21, 2024) the price of the One Ounce Forever Stamps increase to $0.68 from the current rate of $0.66.

Now is the time to ensure you have a good supply of Forever Stamps on hand. And, if you need to purchase stamps, be aware that genuine stamps are never sold at a discount -- yet there are plenty of counterfeit/discounted stamps available online.

While additional ounces will remain the same, most other denominations and styles of Forever Stamps will also increase.

Dear Friends:

There comes a time when a company, small or large, must make difficult decisions. Over the last several years, small businesses have endured Covid, raising inflation, limited availability of products, and loss of sales. These factors, as well as, the cost of lodging, meals, gas, and physical restraints have led me to the decision to make this the last year Beggin4Fun will attend NACSW events to sell Nose Work merchandise.

The store on the website will open again after the March trial in Golden Colorado and will be updated after each trial or camp with the remaining products.

I will no longer be restocking any Beggin4Fun Nose Work designs. If you would like to purchase something, this will be the last year that these products will be available.

Please take some time to shop some of our original Colorado Nose Work designs and products such as Nose Work Toilette Bags, Enjoy Life/Play with Your Dog tshirts, Dog’s Smell Better Up Here, embroidered Colorado Mountain Scene with a dog sniffing a pine cones, vests or t-shirts, light fleece jackets in purple and raspberry with a mountain scene, ball caps (unstructured and lightweight performance hats) and easy to pack spacious toiletry bags!

Hello everyone, if looking for an Intro Odor class, Karen Lamb CNWI will be offering this training at Under the Sun Dog training in Colorado Springs. She is the only Certificate Nose Work Instructor in Colorado Springs, CO, or the Pueblo area.
Nosework 2 (Intro to Odor)
6 weeks, 1 session per week No Class Monday, September 5th. $220 is the cost for 6 weeks. Only 6 will be allowed in the class.

Prerequisite: Basic Obedience Recommended. Bring Crate, one dog works at a time.

Nosework - your dog will learn to search for specific odors and find the source. Dogs start by searching for their favorite food or treat hidden in a variety of environments, increasing the challenges and adding new search skills as the dog progresses. It is a progression from this point on to the handler learning to handle a lead, the dog, and how to reward at the proper time.

This is an introduction to Odor class, starting with Birch.

Nosework helps shy or fearful dogs build confidence and overactive dogs put their energy into fun searches. Nosework builds a bond between dog and handler as the handler learns to observe, understand and rely upon his dog.
