PAWright Pet Services PAWright is a professional pet care company in Soddy Daisy TN offering a variety of services WE ARE PAWright Pet Services!

If you don't want to put your pet in storage or it's not a good fit to kennel or daycare them while you are away and you don't feel the need to impose on family, friends or neighbors, nor do you want to hire the kid down the street who may or may not be there for your pet family members, we offer an alternative. Our goal is to keep your pet(s) in their own home and in their same routine or as near

as possible. Many animals have less stress while they are at home as opposed to being in a strange environment and possibly exposed to disease or other aggressive animals. While there are a lot of animals that do fine in a kennel/day-cares, some just don't cope well within that scenario. This is where PAWright Pet Services comes in to help. Our sitters and ourselves love all kinds of animals! Caring for them as if they are part of the family is what we strive to do. We do not take this responsibility lightly! We treat all animals as if they were our own. The majority of our staff have had professional level caretaking of animals in the past, whether it be a veterinarian, vet techs, volunteers with animal shelters, working on large farms and ranches, or having their own pet sitting business. Pawright is an insured, bonded, and licensed business that provides references, passed criminal background checks on all staff and is an accredited A rated business with the Better Business Bureau. We have been in business 4 years with over 80+ years in animal care combined. Our mission: provide the best care possible for your furry, scaly, and feathered family members as they are part of your family and ours; to keep your home secure and watched after (getting the mail, watering plants, cleaning up waste and other things as you see needing our attention} We offer the following creature features: Pet sitting, Dog walking, Mid-day breaks for those folks who can't get away from work, Pet transportation: Pet Taxi for those who need back and forth to daycare, vet appointments, grooming appointments our boarding drop-off and pick-up [our clients love having their pet already home to greet them and not have to drive again after a long trip to pick-up their cats or dogs- or having to pay an extra day of boarding), Pet/home/farm monitoring, Pet Medication Administration- insulin shots, IV fluids, assist in rehab, oral meds and what you need done that the animal will allow us to do, Waste Removal, Pet House Training, and overall Pet care according to your instructions.. We are a member of Pet Sitters International, and cover many neighborhoods in Chattanooga, Hamilton County and some of North Georgia. If you live far out just ask and we'll see if we can help.

Please be mindful of your fireworks. Not everybody enjoys them like you.
Wild animals, the neighbors cats and dogs, maybe your cats or dogs. Also some of our veterans are disturbed by the sound (PTSD).

🐕 Walk on grass instead of pavement to protect your pet’s paws. If the pavement is to hot for you to walk barefoot then it is to hot for your dog to walk on the pavment also. PAWright cares about their comfort. 🌱🐾

Air Temperature Vs. Pavement Temperature

Most likely your pets do not like fireworks.

Fourth of July pet safety tips

The Fourth of July can be stressful for pets due to fireworks, gatherings, and other festivities. Here are some tips to help keep your pets safe and comfortable during the celebrations:

1. Create a Safe Space
Indoor Haven: Keep pets indoors in a quiet, secure area of your home.
Comfort Items: Provide their favorite bed, toys, and a few treats to create a comforting environment.
Soundproofing: Close windows, draw curtains, and play soothing music or white noise to mask the sound of fireworks.

2. Identification
ID Tags: Ensure your pet is wearing a collar with an up-to-date ID tag.
Microchip: Verify that your pet's microchip information is current. This can be crucial if they get lost.

3. Exercise and Feeding
Exercise: Walk dogs and engage in playtime earlier in the day to help reduce their energy levels.
Feeding: Feed your pets before the festivities start to prevent them from getting stressed and not eating later.

4. Firework Safety
Avoid Fireworks: Keep pets away from fireworks displays and areas where people are setting off fireworks.
No Fireworks Play: Never use fireworks around pets. They can cause severe burns or trauma if ingested.

5. Party Precautions
Guest Awareness: Inform guests not to feed pets human food and to keep an eye on open doors and gates.
Alcohol and Food: Keep alcoholic beverages and toxic foods(like chocolate, grapes, and onions) out of reach from your pets.

6. Comfort and Calm
Stay Calm: Pets can pick up on your stress, so remain calm and reassuring.
Anti-Anxiety Aids: Consider using anxiety wraps, pheromone diffusers, or consulting your vet about anti-anxiety medication if your pet has severe reactions to loud noises.

7. Leash and Supervision
Leash Use: Always use a leash when taking your dog outside, even if it's just for a bathroom break, as they might bolt if startled by fireworks.
Supervision: Keep a close watch on your pets outside, especially during peak fireworks.

8. Check the Yard
Secure Fencing: Ensure your yard is safe with no loose boards or gaps where pets could escape if frightened.
Remove Hazards: Clear the yard of firework debris before letting your pets out.

9. Emergency Plan
Vet Information: Have your veterinarian's contact information handy, in the event of an emergency.
Know the location of the nearest Emergency Veterinarian Hospital
First Aid Kit: Keep a pet first aid kit readily available.

By taking these precautions, you can help ensure that your pets have a safe and less stressful Fourth of July.
